how did u not notice the $4k jade knife holy shit
Ответитьway😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьfor everyone else wondering, don't hunt wild animals while they're sleeping it reduces your accuracy to very low percentages due to the animals laying down! people tend to overlook the tooltip
Ответитьthe jade knife is 3900 bucks.....
ОтветитьEnforced joy... sounds fun, also RIP ostrich you will be missed
ОтветитьAnimals eat grass, you mods allow you to plant grass, why are you making them eat meals? Also chickens will die in cold weather so why notmakeabarn?
ОтветитьThe meals aren't being consumed, they are rotting. They only last 3 days when cooked. And pawns don't prioritize meals that are closest to going bad, they eat the closest meal of the preferred types. So you will cook a stack of meals and half of them go bad.
Make pemmican until you have a fridge.
Pretty sure they ate the dead dog, unless Quill changed the butcher order to exclude huskys
ОтветитьWill you be making any lights for the rooms?
Ответить@quill18 - make sure to open your priority screen then click the new buttos on the top right side one of them enables you to separate the jobs like haul, into more specific priorities like for example stripping before, hauling and hauling before rearming traps. That should make things more enjoyable rather than having to micro manage all that.
ОтветитьAre lights not that important?
ОтветитьQuill!! the jade knife has a value of almost 4,000$!!!
ОтветитьThanks for the video Quill! always enjoy your series!
Animals can eat hay and kibble, but they do not have preferences for it. If you want to force animals to eat things other than your fine meals, restrict them to an area that doesn't have the meals in it. They also poop everywhere so restricting them outside colonist/work/hospital rooms helps.
Since you have no cooling, might as well store your good meals in the same room with the table, fewer doors to traverse.
They don't have electricity but no one has questioned how it is they have power tools like drils when they construct stuff... xD
Ответить1 Square high priority wood only stockpile in front of the stove to make sure fuel is available and close?
Ответить12 minutes in and I'm thinking, "You seriously need to start thinking about fixing your indoor stockpile - wood and clothes should not be kept with food or the food will rot in the fields because they got nowhere to store it."
ОтветитьTry building another stove.
Ответитьquill for a defence sysytem why dont you use a checker style trap system because ur colonists and allies and path throught it while the enemys go straight throught all the traps i use it and its saved my base every time
ОтветитьJust a bruise to the head? In before MASSIVE ANEURYSM!
ОтветитьThat reminds me, I really wish skill levels did more. If you're a skilled professional at making furniture, you should be consistently producing good quality work. If you've got the skill of a master sniper, it shouldn't take 10+ shots to hit a sleeping deer with a sniper rifle...
Ответитьkillbox is boring
ОтветитьYou forgot the torches. Everyone is complaining about darkness
Ответить"guys wake up we're under attack! just joking i just wanted you to wake up and be productive" quill you are really a jerk :D but you make me laugh everytime :D
Ответитьyou should place two tiny 1X1 storages next to the oven, one for meat and one for veggies. that way the cook will not waste all his time on walking
ОтветитьYour cook wastes a lot of time moving around getting ingredients. You may want to setup stockpiles for raw meat and veggie with critical importance right next to the stove then set the meals/pemmican jobs to "Drop on floor". This makes cooking for large colonies way more efficient time-wise.
ОтветитьIsnt there some sort of '' torch light'' that you could craft in your rooms so they are happier and more productive?
ОтветитьHis job priorities window is painful to look at. All those 1s.
ОтветитьQuill consider using the extra features of the Work Tab mod. You got some Dwarf Therapist style functionality as well as priorities based on time of the day. For example, you could set it so between 8 and 10, all pawns do some hauling, and then resume their normal priorities.
ОтветитьSince you have a ton of wood I'd suggest torches for some light to remove the darkness debuff. They last ages before needing refueled!
Ответитьwatch out for freezing temperatures; the chicks will suffer very quickly without a warmed shelter.
ОтветитьWatch this at 1.25 speed, it's hilarious how excited quill sounds about everything
ОтветитьChickens will eat all your meals and crops if you don't restrict them from your growzones and food stock piles. Probably want to build a chicken coup building that holds hay stock pile and assign all your chickens in there to better keep track of them
Ответитьhe should stop making meals... too much jobs.
ОтветитьYou can make tribal outfits at the crafting spot, as well as bows and clubs and things. It's highly recommended for the tribal game mode because it'll take friggin' forever to unlock the standard tailoring workbench.
Ответитьlol a warrior who can not fight
Ответитьhey Quill, you should build torches in houses so it'll be less dark :)
ОтветитьThe jade knife isn't impressive, except for the $4000 price tab.
ОтветитьTime saving tip: Add the cooking bills through the manager. There's an option to restrict every single production task to ONLY the pawns that have the highest skill level.
Ответитьnow that you have wood you could set up a furniture industry. A zone with just one room in it, with a wood stockpile and orders for a dozen beds and chairs would force your main constructor to do just those tasks. You can achieve the same thing with a locked door. Once they are built you can store them and you won't have to worry about low skill people making beds.
ОтветитьQuill18: take a look at the "haul_priority_lite" (725714675 @workshop). It adds 3 new possible action in the order menu. One is to unforbid items, the other 2 change the haul priority of the flagged objects. You will LOVE it. Safe to add during a playthrough.
While we're at it, AutoSeller and Numbers! are 2 very useful tools you might have missed. I rarely use autoseller before the very late game, but I have a feeling you'd like the condensed view of (everything) with Numbers!.
Stonecutting Tweaks (add bills to cut specific type of stones). Also doesn't require a new game.
i would store jade knife for sell one day.
Ответитьyou realize the jade knife has a 4000 dollar sell price right
ОтветитьCan you make a critical importance stockpile for just the fertilized eggs somewhere near the nest? It just looks kind of odd putting them in the stockpile with everything else. But maybe that is just me.
ОтветитьBreak down some of the stone walls to make some doors...
ОтветитьSome say if you shake his hand in a certain way, Your trades will be free. And if you kill all his friends, animals and just knock him out, You can rescue him for good will. All we really know is that he is called the Steg.
Ответитьwhats is managing ??
ОтветитьCOOK YOUR MEAT BEFORE IT GETS ROTTEN!
Ответитьy u no make 1 person research
ОтветитьYour characters looks like an anime cast xD
Ответить
