DIY Transparent Embellishments with Tea Bags

Yes ! I sat here with a bit of a stiff neck and worried a bit about the world and I came upon this video, and it made me smile, laugh, and raise my eyebrows in amazement. I am filled with inspiration, so love how you express how your feeling and how you give hope if we get stuck. I have not a care in the world except to journey into making a Treasure Book. Wee !

Ok, this is the 2nd video of yours i watched, and again, i got so much out of it in a creative way but also in a very uplifting personal way. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Can i pick that creative brain of yours? I have napkins from my husbands celebration of life service and wanted to do something special with them. I also have his little obituary card with his picture on it. Any ideas on what and how i can make a really nice momento to give to my daughters? Thanks, oh and can you do this somehow with photographs?

does the picture need to be from tissue paper/napkin, or can it be random pictures?

99% of trash ends up in the same place, eventually. In the ground.

You can also put the images from napkins straight on to freezer paper and put the glue & water on it and when it dries, you can use it like you are using with tea bags.

I love this! I have been making tea bag “leather” to cover altered book covers and to embellish pages…I love napkins too! Thank you for this great technique!

I’m gathering together bits to make journals, have been watching your videos for a while now-you’re the best I’ve found so far, great tutorials, great tips, really clear instructions, I could watch you all day! (Feel like I have today as I was rewatching faux handmade paper, faux rice paper and now this one just to make sure of the process😊) I was up last night ironing cereal bags after watching your fusing cereal bags video 😂 and I’ve made my first faux handmade paper today-I must say it’s much easier than making real handmade paper-thank you again! You really are so talented and make me laugh too🌹

If you reactivate the glue, would they stick on a glass jar? Or maybe a vase/toothbrush holder/kitchen utensils vessel?
Maybe even on a damaged wooden/plastic picture frame to cover?

Love this! Fyi, Red Rose teabags do not contain microplastics. They also contain the least chemicals in their tea.

What a great idea! I wonder if you could use the "bad" teabag with the top cut off to insert a picture. Then there would be a teabag layer on both sides.... just a thought! I love how all of these turned out.

I have watched a couple of your videos. I'm inspired I dont do the tea bags, but I certainly will now. I have to redo my stash. Do you use a ink jet printer I dont know if you said it or not? I wonder if parchment paper would work instead of the glycine bags. Thank you so MUCH.
