okay, I know I'm really late, but there are some cages that aren't interactive lol, they're literally only for observation, but there's a lot of lore in the game. Like when you read the "ability to withstand high temperatures" in the job note is 'cause in the lore, the world is burning up, so that's a shitty ass job 'cause it would be hot af. There's also some other great things, like aliens, monster plants, conspiracies, political issues, media manipulation, technology advancements, etc... there's also a sequel situated in 2099, with, again, LOT of lore and a lot of new features and stories. When you play it once, you're gonna want to play over and over and over again till you suck everything from the game

This is a wild...wild game and this is just the beta. It legitimately gets weirder and weirder as you go through it. If you like it, you'll have to let me know.
