Sony 20-70/F4 G and Tamron 50-400 would make an ideal combination for travel photography.
ОтветитьWith all these lenses, is impossible to have money for travel! Very cleverer Sony ambassador 😂
ОтветитьSony FE 600mm f4 is THE BEST TRAVEL LENS
ОтветитьThe best travel lens is the lens that travels with me. My little friend
ОтветитьG master lens are great but are not cheap.
Ответить24-70 f2.8 70-200 f4
ОтветитьThat was really darn useful thanks.
ОтветитьAre we still allowed to use the word "master"? G-master looks awesome, but I work in computer engineering and then banned that in our field. Real estate too.
ОтветитьYou sure don’t travel light! P.s sony is making light bodies. I wish there was a 24-120 f4
Ответитьal final nombró todos los que existen...
ОтветитьThey ar all way too big.
ОтветитьBasically just went over a bunch of g master lenses.
ОтветитьMy favorites for travel are the 16-35 f2.8 and the 24-105 f4. The 24-105 is the lens that lives on my camera most of the time. I would also include the 100-400 f4 if I know I will be shooting wildlife at a distance. Your selections validated my thoughts! I'm planning for a long-awaited African photo safari, and I think those are the three that will be in my bag. I learned the hard way a long time ago that bringing everything one owns is a royal pain in the back! Too much and too heavy! Thank you for this video!
ОтветитьI need one for theme parks, any recommendations?
ОтветитьI all depends if you are a f***ing billionaire or just a millionaire, no offense lady, but without the plug from Sony or some house mortgage, there is nooooo chance of getting all that gear just in case. Great gear, absolutely the best, but come on.
ОтветитьMust be nice to have an unlimited budget.
ОтветитьIs thats the best gear money can buy...? Wao, thanks for the video.
ОтветитьI REALLY think you need to take the word “travel” out of the title of this video.
ОтветитьSo nice to see a woman making these videos! I was a little bit tired of seeing only guys. Great video!
ОтветитьVideo title should be heaviest least travel friendly lenses.
ОтветитьWhat about the f4 16-35 pz Sony lens?
ОтветитьVery practical review by Sony. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьFor my A7IV if I’m bringing only one lens it the 50 1.2 GM but most of the time I travel with 2 lenses: 35 1.4 GM and 135 1.8 GM I don’t mind the weight when I look at the pictures
ОтветитьWhy should I get the Sony a6400 instead of the Fuji X s-10? Go!
ОтветитьNew 24-70 f2.8 GM II should be one of the best choice as well due to smaller size , lighter and shaper.
ОтветитьThat’s so real life based lol.
Ответитьnice send me the a7IV and the 24-70 G master
ОтветитьHi Allison, I personally own the Sony 16-35 f2.8 GM, the Sony 35 f1.4 GM, also own 2 Sigma lenses...(at the time they were just newer lenses than the Sony GMs) the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 Art and the Sigma 85 f1.4 Art, so what would you recommend to get, the 70-200 GM ii maybe with a teleconverter or the 100-400 GM. As a professional creator I mostly shoot my video work with zoom lenses and photograph clients with my primes. Looking for a quality zoom that can be a versatile option and be in my travel kit all the times with 2 other lenses and a drone.
ОтветитьMany thanks -
My favourite travel lenses are
1. 28-60
2. 24-105 f4
2.8 glass is too cumbersome to carry
And if I intend long then will be the 100-400
I don’t own any primes but if I had to have one then it will be the 28mm f2 !
What are the best lenses? Why, our most expensive ones, of course!
ОтветитьPretty lame advice, when you consider the weight and space factor when traveling.
ОтветитьAlmost all of those lenses are huge- not to mention the most expensive. I too get stuck on what to bring. I just went to Hawaii and I think I found the right combo for me. 24-105 f4 and 20 f1.8. I didn’t miss my other lenses at all. Currently own the 35 1.8, 50 1.8, and 85 1.8 as well. I don’t have a big need for the larger telephoto lenses but I can concur on getting every mm you can get! We drover from Seattle to the east coast and Wyoming and Montana required some zoom!
ОтветитьOMG, yes! 16-35mm is my fav travel lens.
ОтветитьI watched many videos trying to figure out which lens to buy for travel. Your video is the best. You are video was concise, to the point and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for your help!
ОтветитьHaaahaaa...You are very funny..except camera,lenses only $12000...
An old photographer says
"If the best picture was taken with the best camera, the one with the best typewriter would write the best novel"
All heavy large lenses not great for traveling
ОтветитьYou hit the nail on the spot with every lens I have to agree with you about everything. Well done video
ОтветитьMy system is pretty much the same as yours. I'm planning a trip to the Canadian Rockies for this Fall. I'm thinking about taking two camera bodies with the 16-35mm GM, 24-70mm GM II, 70-200mm GM II, and 100-400mm GM. I'll leave the primes at home.
ОтветитьTotally unrealistic arsenal of lenses unless your say…. Hmmmmm sponsored by Sony?!!!
Ответить24-105mm all the way ! Super versatile
ОтветитьHello I’m john. Since i travel a lot like a backpacker. I use my 24-105 g master. And my 100-400 sigma
I had the Sony 100/400 was great but way to big for traveling
I’m happy with the two I just mention and get the job done. From being kissing the cobbler stone ground of old Europe to the elephant of Africa w the 100-400
Title: best lenses for travel photography.
Recommend 5kg lens for travel
Yeah I should've clicked away right when I heard "Sony A ambassador".
L
I love the way you deliver your speech, very knowledgeable, natural and... cute! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
ОтветитьSigma 18-50 2.8 is the only lens I take away and covers almost everything
Ответитьa-1 w/ 17-40f/4, 85 f1.4, 28f/2, is great for european cities/ wine country, Mediterranean coast, fits in a smallish stealth non-photo bag - 24 isn't wide enough, 35 to 70 isn't long enough, and the 85 has fantastic 3D subject isolation for portraits and short tele architectural/landscape shots with so much crispy sharpness
ОтветитьF2.8 for travel is useless. Especially for landscape.
ОтветитьShould be titled best lenses for travel if you get them free and have security to watch over them at all times.
ОтветитьIt all depends where you are going and what are going to shoot. What I will say is that you are missing a lens that I love for travel photography - the Sony 24-240mm. Scott Kelby talked about travel zooms in a bunch of videos and it really convinced me to try one. Moment can often be the most important thing in photography - especially when travelling - and not having to change lenses can be priceless (especially when traveling with other people). You should try it :) I typically take a 16-35mm F2.8, 24-70mm F2.8, 35mm and then depending on whether it is a "photo specific" trip - I will take the 100-400mm. Then I choose what I want to take each day / outing.
