I am betting your biggest bottleneck is your MVME interface which is only running at PCIe 3.0 1x.
I know that CPU supports 8 PCI-E lanes so I did some digging and it looks like those MVME connectors are actually pinned differently to the CPU:
1x M.2 M Key, PCIe 3.0 2x
1x M.2 B Key, PCIe 3.0 1x
from the images, it looks like you were using the 1x slot for the GPU and the 2x slot for the MVME. I am betting if you switched them you would see significantly better performance in games.
taki said you mess with children
ОтветитьTo much expansive and cost effective for what is it…
ОтветитьNanomachines, Son!
ОтветитьYou know you can do better, sometimes cheaper(may be even in smaller FF) and more energy efficient using Ryzen 6XXXU or H series?)
ОтветитьIt has no sence at all because external power supply will be bigger then Panda+Video card. You forgot to mention about it. And forgot to show power supply too. There are too much options to build microATX with much more performance for the same price.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьU could make a mini usb gamer stick pc with the right adapter and case
ОтветитьWaiting for Mini USB PC
ОтветитьHow about minecraft?
ОтветитьHEY! Eta prime, I just wanna ask if you could try out call of duty: warzone with that gpu, because right now i running the lattepanda delta 432, 4gb ram, and i dont have an egpu (to suppirt the vram needed) and im thinking about buying a gtx 1650 and the delta 3 and i wanna know if its worth it for warzone (my parents wont allow me to have a full blown pc so idk, but I hope you see this, but other than tthat Have a great day!!) to see if I can play the game on there. Thanks.
Ответить75% bottleneck on 3060. Wow!! Still amazing test! Loved it.
ОтветитьCan x86 SBCs like these theoretically be connected with SIM modules(SimCOM etc) to make calls? I was thinking of changing my raspberry router with a x86 one with capability to make calls in my RV. I do not keep my expensive phone in my pocket due to the neighborhoods I have to cross. Would be cool, if I keep my cheap feature phone in pocket for emergencies, while my time in my RV I get to work with a better portable solution, including making calls.
Ответитьvalorant fps ?
ОтветитьOne lane of PCIe is the most likely culprit for your performance issues
ОтветитьThanks bro really saved my wallets arse
ОтветитьWhat I you use a msi 750ti
Ответитьhow would esports games like csgo?
Ответитьyeah, x2 is just as unusual as x6. most of the time only x1, x4, x8, or x16 works.
For Windows 11 you best set the swap file to 4GB.
I was wondering if Nvidia Cuda would help out the poor cpu performance.
More than likely Spiderman and other games are suffering from the pcie bottleneck, rather than CPU or RAM.
So beautiful! In Argentina we have killing taxes to get one of those. You will end up spending the price of a full fledged Ryzen 5, to get a Latte Panda without the accesory to connect that VGA.
ОтветитьWhy does this run better than my laptop 💀
ОтветитьI have doubts about how the emulators run
ОтветитьI have been waiting for someone to do this thank you it's just a curiosity really but to have that much power and that little bit of space is definitely cool I would love to give it a test drive and would definitely use if I somehow acquired it.
ОтветитьDoesn't that celeron bottleneck the external GPU?
Ответить@etaprime I have found that you get a lot more consistent performance by disabling Energy Efficient Turbo in the bios and increasing Power Limit 1 from 10W to 11-12W and the Platform PL1 Power from 12W to 15W or higher (I use 20W since I use an eGPU with my Latte Panda 3 Delta, like you in this video.)
ОтветитьYou should've tried turning on hardware accelerated gpu scheduling in windows settings
ОтветитьWonderful, can You make video of running Tensorflow code on it?
ОтветитьWould be cool to see this put into a cyberdeck
ОтветитьAlso deshrouding the gpu would look pretty clean imo
Ответитьdo you think this would play COD? or Project Zomboid? without an egpu?
also how do you think Photoshop or photo editors would function?
Now that’s a gaming pc rite there
ОтветитьWhat is best belink ser4 4800u or beelink ser 5600h.
ОтветитьThey better watch this and make it better on next version, then I'll consider to buy.
ОтветитьCan i use gtx 1050 2gb instead gtx 1650 with the same method and adapter? Pls reply plsss
ОтветитьI would love to see how Ragnarok online runs on it
Ответить@ETA PRIME Any idea if the latest LattePanda Sigma will perform much better with 16GB ?
ОтветитьHello,
Can we use intel arc a380 with it?
Hey is it possible to power it on external battery?
Ответитьwhere can i buy a tiny GPU like the one shown?
ОтветитьYou didnt wanna power both with the same power supply because you just wanted to get it running and didnt wanna waste the time but yet you spent plenty of time to mount the sbc to the gpu because it looks "cool". I bet your the kinda guy to detail your car even tho your 2000k miles past due on oil change. Like your reviews but this is why "explaining conputers" is the best for sbc reviews.
Ответитьnow that im looking at this lattepanda thing, i feel like this is what some of those mini pcs at amazon use.
ОтветитьOk i NEED to get one of these and plug my RTX A2000 into it 😂
ОтветитьI think you might get better gaming performance using steam OS. Would be worth a try
Ответитьthats DOPE so freaking cool. ive found some really cool ITX cases on amazon that this build would look really cool inside of. or like a military ammo box lol i have one in my room for that reason but haven't taken a drill to it yet
Ответитьwould be way cooler if the panda would mount on the back.. hell, you could use a bigger GPU considering the size of that adapter.
Wonder how it'd run with that new 4060 LP?
Even better with that ryzen SBC.
4060 LP
Ответитьvga with pc
ОтветитьThis might be interesting for some AI use cases, with GPUs with much VRAM.
Ответить
