This device is a total POS! Don't waste your money! Cannot do the most basic feature...try replacing your bedside clock with this POS device? Won't work cuz the device dims at night so much that you cannot see the clock at night...I would love to meet the loser Google engineer team that designed this total failure!

Just like everyone, I have your standard computer, couple of smart t.v, a smart phone, couple of smart watches, a fire tablet, Fire stick...etc. etc etc...I can't think of why I would need this, if everything you own does the same thing already.....it's just redundant! PS Thank you for editing the plastic out....it saved time.

Removing the camera was a perfect omission. No accident. Very deliberate omission for privacy concerns. If you really need a camera, look elsewhere, no need to screw this product up.

Hahaha, they say not having the camera for privacy is a big silly talk, they could easily installed camera shutter/cover to solve this issue.
It's just another marketing strategy. People like me that love google home devices, will buy it anyway. Then, google will lunch another version of the Google Hub 2, with camera with a privacy shutter and different sizes. Guess what? We will buy the new model! Sorry google but not me, I will wait for the next improved model.
