This makes me feel so lucky that me & my family & my closest friends say “I love u” to each other everyday bcse I have made that a ritual. And now its a habit we all have. I think I tell my mom that I love her at least 10 times a day. The first thing I do is msg all my friends “I love u”. Just a small gesture. But it means a lot to someone who needs it. It shouldn’t be s rarity

I had this friend who if i did not call them every other day to tell them how I was doing I would end up with like 20 miss calls from them so they could say "I love you" and "How are you doing" I always found it sweet as hell tbh

I always tell my Mom and sisters, but not my brother and Father. They never say it so I gave up saying it to them.

I really need to say it more often, for some reason I can say it to my gf no problem, but with my family I don't know if I've ever said it first. The reason I think I struggle is because I don't feel like I can fully be myself at home, when I can with my gf, which is strange because it's not like anything I do goes against the values of my parents, but it just feels like the way they raised me felt more like a guardian role than a relationship role until I got older.

I like the people calling their grandparents cause I know how much grandparents love that. My grandma keeps all the messages I leave her I actually get to meet my grandparents for lunch this weekend and at 35 I’m so incredibly privileged to still have them around.

Why the heck am i thinking about my sisters and crying

One of the most important lessons I've learned is to say "I love you." to your family, friends, whoever, when you can because life is short and you never know when yours or someone elses may end.. so try to always end on a positive note and with no regrets. I grew up in a home that i love you wasn’t said. Now at 38 i made it a priority to tell my kids and my family I love them even if it’s awkward.

I was sitting here thinking of who I would call right now, but then they were calling their grandmas and I wish I could call mine 😭 I did used to call her back after she'd leave me a voicemail; and say "I love you" and she'd giggle and say it back. I miss her voice more than anything in the world. She called me almost daily during the pandemic lockdown.

I just come here from time to time, to hear all the mothers hearing that ''i love you'' from their kids ... if i had one wish, any wish, that would be it, to be able to tell my mom one last time that i loved her and that i should have said it more often and not take that feeling for granted and make her feel more appreciated.

Appreciate your family, there's nothing like a family inconditional love, specially like ur parents love you, never take it for granted, because remember that nothing lasts forever.
