i cant believe someone actually made an hour long video on building a deck, for a card game, where the main thing you do is kill monsters
other than that i read the commander of read riders quote thingy well he was going on a rant about bringer of death and it reminded me of how he said "go on show me your spins" and i started the fight with the twirly light attack
either way didnt help me much, i just wanna know where to GET the cards...

A general tip: always run the least amount of cards the game demands, in Gwent case 22, in MTG Standard 60. It always increases the chance of getting your best cards.

Muster

You probably wont see this, but i would like it if you made an update on these with cards that cam from the dlc‘s
e.g. should i use toad instead of maybe the arachas behemoth because of the muster nerf? Or should i replace something else with it? or just not use it?

a good use for the draw a card from discard pile is it wastes a go which is good to trick the A.I in lots of situations

In monster deck you can have this terrible draw with let's say 4 vampires and 2 crones after replacement. So you can use it to replace two vampires with ghouls or something

Video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix my self a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm really a shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I can introduce my self. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I want the best for her and I harbor no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seems happy with her boyfriend, so I did not bother her anymore. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it, I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already when I first saw her. Besides, I am quiet happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wants to live some other life without me in it, so I said, okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness. My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally can't take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get my self a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video. So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it.

Call me bias, but I've never felt drawn to playing either the Monster nor the Scoia'tael gwent decks. They've always felt inferior compared to Nilfgaard and the Northern Realms deck. I've also never fond of the new Skellige gwent deck in Blood and Wine.

Northern Realms will ALWAYS be my #1 gwent deck. Nilfgaard being my 2nd choice. Spies for days.

I like the Destroyer of Worlds leader card, not to revive muster cards but to revive Villentretenmerth or any spies that have been put onto my side of the battlefield.

Nilfgaard and northerb is pretty simple but scoiatel and monster deck are so damn confusing to me

Keeping a good amount of clear weather cards i guess would be the best way to support this deck against biting frost

I wish Caranthir was in this deck. He's the only member of the Wild Hunt trio that didn't join his buddies in the monster deck. If he was in this deck as a hero card, he'd be a medic.

It is worth mentioning the Arachas Behemoth will summon all Arachas but will not be summoned by other Arachas.

Use yen instead of triss because they have the same strength but yen is a medic so why not?

Don't see the point of craploads of muster cards if you have no spies.
Loads of opportunity to get 2+ of the same muster card in your hand which is basically a wasted card but no way to use the upside of emptying the deck and only drawing cards you want.

3x Biting Frost and Villen plus Decoys is always my way to go against Monster Decks!

Can anyone confirme if you can play Eredin, Bringer of Death if you do not have enough cards in your hand to discard 2? If you can, it would work extremely well in an over-extending Monster deck.

You are indeed correct about the Destroyer Of Worlds (discard 2, pick 1 of your choice from the deck) in that it is significantly inferior to the Commander of the Red Riders (commander's horn for your close combat row). However if by any reason you run a large monster deck (personally I've included every unit out there, even Endregas and Wyverns), it's got an extra advantage: It doesn't shuffle the deck. You can for example go way up, look at the top 2 cards, decide if it's worth picking The Mysterious Elf, and when to play it. In general, I end up with exactly 2 useless cards in my hand and this allows me to pick ANY card, depending on the opponent, this can be another muster group, dandelion (recommended if you have Yen...you can use him twice), Avallac'h, Kayran, Villentretenmerth, etc.

So in general, it's not great, but it's better than it sounds. I too was like "wtf is this" the first time I used it. But with the right deck it can work wonders, especially in the tabletop card game if you are using the whole decks (we do that sometimes with friends, play with every unit in our deck and 10 special cards).
