This movie and the “secret adventures of Tom Thumb”
Ответитьthis movie is very interesting. it’s like things would rest for the next “alice” like the ceiling would break then would repair its self as if someone else was going to come back down it. i also think the sock scene was VERY cool and i think the shoes and socks outside the room represent the previous people who went in there. as she was about to leave the “room” tried to take her socks.
ОтветитьThis movie haunted me as a child but I was also fascinated by it. No wonder my house is full of taxidermy now XD
ОтветитьI love stop motion ❤
ОтветитьNo idea why it was a tradition, but for years my family would watch this every Christmas Eve.
ОтветитьIm only watching this because of Melanie Martinez and its gonna be her fault if i get nightmares🌝💅
ОтветитьThe way the mother is sitting on the grass gives the impression she's headless
ОтветитьZlatý Švankmajer!!!! Povinně učit děti imaginaci!!!
ОтветитьHoly shit; I found a new favorite movie. This was amazing.
ОтветитьThis is one of the most terrifying take on Alice in Wonderland I’ve ever seen and I love every second of it.
ОтветитьImagine watching that as a kid.
Ответитьim buggin out
ОтветитьI seem to remember this version but not very well. I think it was on a channel on tv maybe once or twice when I was a kid. I remember bringing it up once but no one knew what I was talking about.
ОтветитьHighly recommend picking some of your favorite tunes/scores to listen to in the background of the film, since there is very minimal score. It was fun when moments would coincidentally line up with my playlist, kind of like syncing up DSOTM with The Wizard of Oz.
Ответить"Setnete ji hlavu! Jenže kterouuuu???"
Ответитьthis says a bunch of stuff about childhood that can't be said any other way. now that's good art
ОтветитьThank you Abby, this is a wonder.
ОтветитьA better nightmare fuel than most horror films.
ОтветитьI saw in TVO in the early 1990's and I never forgot it. Basically a free tour into a schizophrenic mind.
Ответитьi'm not sorry for anything!
ОтветитьAlice and wonderland on drugs, that’s what this is
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьWhat a beautifully surreal approach to the source material, fresh and original…unlike all the rest. Finally, an Alice of the appropriate age. Her calm and emotionless narration created a perfect counter to her interactions with the deranged denizens of her dreamworld. This young actress was brilliant throughout the entire film.
The use of stop-motion animation provided the inanimate with an eerily believable semblance of cognizance and purpose, giving the dream a sense of its own reality. Every aspect of this film was clearly considered, and accomplished with a marvellous blend of originality, creativity, and skill.
I enjoyed every minute of it, and cannot believe I was unaware of its existence until today. It is rare to come across a film of this quality and tone these days, I cannot think of anything I would change to make it better. Thank you for making it available, this talented creator stands comfortably in a class with such luminaries as Guillermo Del Torres. I will search out more of his work in the near future.🖤🇨🇦
Why is this beautiful yet terrifying at the same time
ОтветитьNeil Gaiman's recommendation.. LOL straight outta dreamland I should have known :D
ОтветитьThank you for having this amazing film.
ОтветитьBaie Dankie. Finally get to see it )
ОтветитьWow. This is... Something
Ответить"If I tell him I'm good he'll trust us" my heart broke in that moment 😢 hopefully mum will re marry and he'll get an amazing step father ❤ I think I would of lied tho and said he knows that his smart and amazing but he just can't be around 😢
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI feel bad for the white rabbit, sure he may be an executioner but he's constantly abused by Alice throughout the entire film and yet she still feels he's obliged to obey her commands.
ОтветитьI came here because of Steve reviews
ОтветитьMi cara cuando. Es rara, pero tiene sus pros está película
ОтветитьThank you! 😊
