Deity without a doubt
ОтветитьRode better. Diety sounds like it’s cracking
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you for helping me pick a mic!
ОтветитьWait did you throw your Royal Oak on the floor!!! lol great video
ОтветитьCan these mics be used for live calls (Zoom and etc) or only work well for recordings?
ОтветитьDoes the mic connect with the camera n if I’m filming a prank do I have to send the footage somewhere or how ?
ОтветитьThis was so helpful!
ОтветитьBoth do not allow to connect to iPhone to capture audio, right? Also do you know a model of a lav mic Deity includes in a package? Thanks 🧡
Ответитьi'm prefer Lensgo 348c
Ответитьmy diety has alot of static when i connect it how do i fix this
ОтветитьDeity Pocket is good I think.
ОтветитьWhat is the weight of the deity
ОтветитьI have seen many reviews for buying a wireless mic. And like your comparison, Deity in general comes out better than Rode. Both are very good, but I think Deity's sound is better. Both external and internal, I found Deity's result better. Which is not to say Rode is bad. If Deity had the Rode Wireless GO II system, with two transmitters, I would have Deity. But really, the GO II has very good features and I will end up buying it.
2 transmitters that can make a stereo recording using each transmitter being L and R. 2 mics, a lapel and shotgun; or 2 lapels for an interview with 2 people. Among other features.
But I really liked Deity. The Deity Pocket kit with the Deity V-Mic D3 Pro is a good combo.
I’m super disappointed the rode wireless mic needs a special cable to work with iPhone! So unacceptable when the product is already 299!
ОтветитьFirst- GREAT REVIEW! Listening to both of these units, the Deity w/Lav has a better compressed sound which seems to me to sound better. Whereas the RODE system picks up more of the background sounds, as it's more sensitive. I would've been interesting to do a Lav Mic test with the RODE unit to do a "better" comparison. All in all, still great review!
ОтветитьA word of warning: Yes, Deity is really nice but it's not compatible with iPhone. Not if you are any serious about your filming.I lost $114 because of the lack of compatibility.
It's not compatible because you can't connect the receiver to a headphone so you can't hear what you are recording.
I bought the pocket wireless system and the XLR transmitter. I never expected, after seeing so many positive reviews, that Deity would be amateurish to the point of not having a plug for a headphone on its receiver. After all, they are selling this kit as a system for SLR cameras AND smartphones. Synco's receiver has a connection for headphones despite being about three times smaller than Deity's receiver. Deity has no excuse.
They make a big deal about the lapel microphone. It's "professional "etc. But if you are recording with an iPhone then you won't be able to hear what people with Deity's "professional" lavaliere mic on are saying...
I am sending my Deity system and XLR transmitter back to B& H. I live in the UK so I will lose a considerable amount of money as they won't refund shipping and taxes. To be more precise: l will lose $114 or £98.
Gone, never to be seen again. I will be putting this comment in any relevant review about Deity pocket system so other people don't make the mistake I made. Nothing personal.
P.S. I ordered a Godox . Its receiver does connect to a headphone...
The jacket!
Does someone knows the name of it ???
What does this sound like without the lavaliere? I can't find a video without it. Is this just a wired "wireless" mic?
ОтветитьHow do you feel about the deity connect still today?
ОтветитьThanks for this!
ОтветитьI’ve been watching your videos and love all the info and content but once you said you were from Vegas Immediate follow lolZ
ОтветитьA lot More Bigger!! 😀🤩😂🤣 Peace 💚
ОтветитьWow this has been. 🔥 review! I’m for sure gonna pick up the Deity’s Mic 🎙 Thank you so much for sharing!!
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for doing!! Looking at the Rode Go 2 as it has 2 transmitters. Do you know if you can use two transmitters with the Deity to one transmitter or if they are planning on doing what rode did and have a dual transmitter setup? Thanks again for the brilliant video, love the golf part as that is what I will be doing a lot of recording of.
ОтветитьListening to the sound comparisons on my studio headphones, it did feel like the Rode system had a bit of a brighter crisper sound, but that also meant that more reverb in rooms got picked up. The Deity was a bit flatter so that felt nicer as a good middle of the road kind of solution. And of course you can't beat that price! It would be interesting to see a comparison between the Deity system and the Wireless Go II for sound quality. But again, the Deity system still takes the win in my mind for best value considering the Wireless GO II still makes you purchase everything else separately. The Go II does have the internal recording capability, but from what I understand, it's an audio format that seems proprietary and you don't get any control over the sampling rate on it. (Can anyone confirm that?)
ОтветитьI LOVE THE EFFORT YOU PUT INTO THIS REVIEW 🤣🤣 , awesome review !!
ОтветитьAll this competition is great for consumers. I’m still waiting on the DJI that records right on the transmitter without the need of the receiver.
ОтветитьThanks for the comparison. If I want to connect the audio to my iPhone 13 Pro, does one of the included cables work, or do I need another (or a dreaded dongle)?
ОтветитьCan I connect a Deity d3 pro to the mic port on the transmitter?
Ответитьwhat would be the difference between this and having a lavalier connected phone, and then putting the phone in a pocket? besides a bit of weight of course
ОтветитьThumbs up for the burpees!!! Needed a movement test for yoga videos!
ОтветитьSuperb review. Going deity. Thank you! Shout out to the 702 🍻
ОтветитьNot exactly a fair comparison - using a LAV on the Deity and NOT on the Rode. However, the rode sounded 'compressed', if you ask me, and you can't fix that with a LAV, so in the end, the Deity has more/better audio to work. Especially if you are processing in post. *I have exactly 1 video and 1 subscriber, so, you know I know what I'm talking about.
Ответитьgreat videos again yal content is always informative to the buyers of these products and this video helped me make a choice
ОтветитьAfter watching I might be go with the Diety , thanks for sharing great video.
ОтветитьI would choose Deity every day of the week.
ОтветитьThis needs a remake putting the deity against the rode go wireless 2 $280
ОтветитьDeity more hardware but what about software?
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between this deity wireless mic and the one they sell for almost $700?
ОтветитьDoes deity record from receiver only as well?
ОтветитьNahh, i feel like the Deity’s better. Charges faster, has a lav, and more stuff that comes with it. It’s also cheap. It’s just cheap. In USD. It’s cheap in USD. It’s literally like RM750.
ОтветитьGo sounds better
ОтветитьHey, man! Love the videos.
I'm interested to hear your set up recommendations for a mobile content creator that frequents events, and execute impromptu interviews as they go — 🇯🇲
Hoping this turns into a video 👌🏾
Deity 👌🏼 But what if you need to interview someone do you only need one deity? 🤔
ОтветитьRode wireless GO 2 with onboard recording while also sending audio to the transmitter makes it an easy winner. I never have to worry about my the audio cutting out - the biggest problem with these small wireless mics. Plus Rode keeps updating the features!
ОтветитьGreat review man!
ОтветитьWould love if deity had an option to combat wireless go mark 2
