Vaughan rhymes with dawn
ОтветитьYou might enjoy Tin Pan Alley.
ОтветитьThere is no doubt he channeled his music. You should check out , Lenny live at the El mocambo . God bless
ОтветитьThis is a glimpse into the beautiful soul of Stevie Ray Vaughan. I, for one, cherish every second of his genius and compassion on display here. 🙏🏼
ОтветитьStevie plain and simple was a conduit for music. It came from God knows where and flowed through him and out of those strings. A once in a lifetime talent.
ОтветитьIt’s the BLUES. He was the best💟
ОтветитьGod must have one Heck of a Band!
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful song! Stevie's phrasing is impeccable.
ОтветитьBack in the day I would always choose Riviera Paradise while doing whip-its! It's all about the timing.
ОтветитьChitlins con Carne would be a good one to react to by Stevie Ray Vaughn
ОтветитьWhen people ask me who was or is the best..i used to say Stevie..bar none..then i aged..wayyyyy to many styles..
But Stevie was one of a kind..wow...miss him
My favorite SRV song!! Thanks for reacting to it.
ОтветитьIt's absolutely wonderful how we all get the same silly grin and bight eyes when we hear Stevie and co. play.🤩🤩🤩
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьAnd that guy tinkling the piano keys is Reese Wynans. A true talent. When SRV passed away Joe Bonamassa asked him to joim his grp and he did. Not sure if he is still with them. Pure talent added to Joe Bonamassa. ( maybe go down that guitar rabbit hole soon?)
ОтветитьYou need to check out Tommy Emmanuel a virtuoso guitarist from Australia.
ОтветитьVaughan = "Vawn" A treasure he was; and is. He rests under a shady tree in Dallas, Texas
ОтветитьPS: SRV's 7th grade "music teacher" flkunked him! LOL!
Ответитьhes my favorite guitarist and his death was tragic. He had suffered from addiction and had recovered clean playing even better than before. Saw him live 3 months before his passing and he was mesmerizing, playing with real passion. On that snowy night in the mountains he and either Eric Clapton or Robert Cray playing for friends graciously gave his helicopter ride up to stay and play some more. weather got worse and lets just say,RIP Stevie. Had used piano stings due to sheer size and won't break on his. Les Paul added a new line thicker just for him, which he still broke lol. There is a short clip of him playing the hell out of a vintage 53 ish acoustic guitar. WOW
Ответитьfunny note, BB King was with Eric Clapton behind stage when stevie started to play. BB wanted to check out the new phenomenon player. Shocked to see hin white, thought he was black because he had soul playing. Lol sees a white guy with snake skin cowboy boots leather vest wearing a stiletto feathered hat and said he's the blackest white guy alive. Then Eric said he had to leave after 5 mins of seeing him cause he said he'd quit playing and throw away his guitars......THE GOAT
ОтветитьWhy do we have to watch steve rayvon on the small screen and you on the big screen? This sucks!
ОтветитьCannot listen to this without thoughts of blue sky, warm sand, gentle breaking waves on the beach floating away in my own world. Paradise in sound.
ОтветитьI think this song sounds a lot like Jeff Beck.
ОтветитьMy favorite tune. So relaxed and beautiful.
ОтветитьSRV had a deep LOVE for the Blues, but he was a student of the Guitar as well. he poured everything into his Guitar, and His Guitar responded. As Eric CLapton once said "He was an open channel" It just flowed through him effortlessly
ОтветитьCheck out Roy Buchanan
ОтветитьMate, check out Sonny Landreth and Derek trucks - Congo Square live. Best slide guitar playing/video ever?
ОтветитьCheck out the band RUSH! I think you will enjoy. Yyz, tom souyer, limelight and so much more
ОтветитьDon't get wrong, I love the blues and have been a huge fan of Stevie Ray forever.
ОтветитьJone, the keyboardist Reese Wayans plays for another great bluesey guitarist named Joe Bonamassa ,check him out. The song Going Down.
ОтветитьI think Stevie would like knowing his music still makes people happy
ОтветитьSome of the greatest reactions to SRV that I have seen. Just when you think a “classical musician“ might turn his nose to the blues… Proof positive that brilliant, musicianship transcends all genres…
ОтветитьI love Riviera Paradise...but check out Lenny.
ОтветитьLike I said on your other video....GOAT
ОтветитьYhst headstock pluck hits you right in the soul
ОтветитьGOAT = SRV
ОтветитьHow about that double time drop with Reese (Keys) on lead? I loved that.
ОтветитьThis is after he got clean and sober. He still played hard and heavy but this was him exploring new directions. I've read everything I could find about him and everybody says he was a lovely, lovely man. He insisted his band members got paid the same thing he did. Early his concert career, B. B. King opened for him. Stevie did not find out until the end of his set. He was furious that one of his main HEROES was set to open for him. He told his management that under no circumstances would B. B. ever open for him again. He might open for B. B. but not the other way around!
ОтветитьI like to see guitarists react to Stevie. Your reactions are the best.
ОтветитьReese Wynans, Everybody
Reese Wynans
That's his guitar butter I can't remember that men guitar plays it's like a 57 strap body with a 60 something neck who played 13 gauge strings turn down a half step
ОтветитьFinally!!! All the reviewers watch Texas Flood. But, this is beautiful ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI read a quote once;
If you don't play guitar, Stevie makes you want to pick it up. If you do play, he makes you want to put it down. 😎
The joy on his face when he smiles at the very very end makes me grateful he had found his peace. ❤
ОтветитьThe gentleman who played keyboard is Reese Wynans.
His playing adds multi-layered colors and depth to this masterpiece.
He plays with Joe Bonamassa these days.
He is one of the rare talents to have a chance to play with two of the giants.
just say SRV everyone will know
ОтветитьReese Wynans, the keyboard player, is still playing the blues with Joe Bonamassa at age 76!
ОтветитьWe lost him way too soon , just think if he was still around !
Ответить
