I always thought that the original Nosferatu story (I know it is a unoffical Adaptation of the Bram Stoker story and had to change certain details) creates unique changes and allows it to be free, free be its own thing. That being said, I do enjoy this movie for being a combination of both types of Adaptations and being a legitimate Dracula Adaptation and I did enjoy this movie. But I would like Count Orlok to be another vampiric count than another iteration of Dracula.
ОтветитьA unique piece of art❤
Ответитьpity, out of all the draculas in the multiverse this one looks the most accurate to folklore vampires in appearance along side Orlok/Nosferatu.

Ответитьbruno ganz is great in "the american friend" with Dennis Hopper
ОтветитьKlaus kinski don’t need make up he looks like that without the make up hideous
ОтветитьDreadful movie YAWN FEST so slow and boring
ОтветитьI wish they would do a Strahd von Zarovich version of a vampire!
ОтветитьI am a major fan of Herzog — but I know this is not the best Dracula— however, the mise en scene and stylization really reflects my imagination reading Dracula a lot more than other / ‘better’ cinematic interpretations.
It’s eerily similar to how I pictured it.
Kinski is so fantastic for the role.
Not nearly his best film, but wicked as hell— one of his most stylistically nice to look at films.
Você pode colocar legendas em português? Pelo menos em inglês. Obrigada
ОтветитьHow in the name of God did they train so many rats?
Ответитьthat mirror scene is absolute perfection
ОтветитьI saw this in the theater as a little kid with my dad. Scared the crap out of me. But, man, we saw a lot of good, old school, horror movies back then.
ОтветитьA worthy remake to the 1922 horror-classic. It was said that Klaus Kinski (RIP) got along well with a Japanese make-up artist despite his reputation for his 'violent' outbursts on-set with cast and crew. And not only was Klaus Kinski's performance as Count Orlok acclaimed, but Isabelle Adjani's casting and her performance as Lucy was praised as well.
ОтветитьThank you to facilitate this peace of art!
ОтветитьThere's this to say of blood & breath they give a man real taste for death
ОтветитьCon música de Wagner🥰
ОтветитьBruno Ganz ,excellent Actor.sadly missed.
ОтветитьWonderfully brilliant.
ОтветитьI watch this movie since i was a teenage, great chilling atmosphere and original Eastern European scenary makes it different from all other movies of Dracula thematic.. Klaus Kinsky make a creepy Count, and especially Bruno Gantz ,a wonderful actor. I'm so glad that mr. Gantz made a masterpiece The Downfall before his passing,so the entire world was avere of incredible performance and passion in acting by one of, truly greatest actors ever mr. Bruno
Gantz . There was moments when i truly believe that he is actuall Adolf Hitler and that i watch a documentary movie! RIP mr.Gantz. a gentleman actor of our time.
Adjani has the loveliest voice ever, she’s sexy even now
ОтветитьEver since visiting Hamburg years ago I love Germany& the people are really nice too, I’m Scottish& they made me very welcome
ОтветитьThis is the only version of Nosferatu with van helsing
ОтветитьVampyre and not vampire?
Ответитьانه بالانكلش ،ليس بالالمانيه
ОтветитьI hate that I don't love this. It's aesthetically beautifully, I like the sets and locations, but the movie is so uneventful. I didn't mind the build up of arriving at Dracula's castle, but the second half lost my interest.
ОтветитьOk the ending with the arrest is outright hilarious. I cant believe this was found scary, tamer times I suppose
ОтветитьMy all time favorite film. Thank you.
ОтветитьWho else rewatched this during lockdown?
ОтветитьWhat a wretched masterpiece.
ОтветитьThe titles with kittens for a vampire movie is so Herzog.
ОтветитьCiekawe dlaczego wieśniaczka która przyniosła książkę mówi po Polsku? To teren Rumunii
ОтветитьWas Harker's vampire a daytime vampire?
Ответить🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
ОтветитьThis is hands down the best impersonation of Dracula, imo, by possibly the most underrated actor of all time: Klaus Kinski. This actor had a bad temper, and that probably is the reason why he didn't get the roles and the place in cinema that he deserved. But he got to play the best Dracula and that's an astonishing achievement.
I've always been fascinated by the atmosphere of this movie. Watched many times, especially the scene of the first dialogue between Harker and Dracula. It's been said countless times, but this time it's as true as it can get: they don't make movies like this anymore.
One of the finest movies ever made and certainly the best horror film- A wonderful classic of the eldritch and macabre-Cheers for the upload!
ОтветитьTsinkskaro always gets me.
ОтветитьA cure for insomnia
ОтветитьI am SO glad I watched the German version with subtitles first. The acting seemed better in general.
ОтветитьIs this filmed in Amsterdam ?
ОтветитьBeautiful epic movie one of my all time favorites Excellent! Thankyou so much .
ОтветитьThis may be the only example in cinema history where the remake is just as much of a masterpiece as the original.
