Is it accurate that the camera is only 12MP? On the website in the comparison section it says both the DJI Mini 3 & DJI Mini 3 Pro have a 48MP camera.

Being that I'd be pretty much using one to shoot video of moving trains at speeds of anywhere from 30 to 70 mph I'm curious as which one would work better for me 🤔 I should note that I've never used a drone before so this will be a new experience for me 😁

I bought the drone after watching this vid. I must say, though, you have the most ridiculously beautiful areas to film, I know my shots won't even come close because of how idyllic your locale is.

I've been flying fpv racing drones for a decade and this is my first NON racing drone.

First off, it is SO STRANGE to fly for more than 2 minutes at a time. It's really going to take some time getting used to the pace of flying. It feels like its in slow motion, but I like the fact that the sound doesn't scare everyone in 2 mile radius.

The fact the kit I bought doesn't have a way to work easily with any of the dozen pair of fpv goggles and screens I own is a shame, but we'll see how it goes. Only flown for 5 minutes so far, and that felt like forever.

I bought a mini 2 se and it's a great little drone but the 12mb stills seem to lack the sharpness I'm used to so already looking to upgrade .I think they must have improved the mini 3 as it now seems to shoot 48 mp raw files .DJI have a sale on atm and at only £349 drone only [Ican use controller from my mini 2 se] it seems like a no brainer

They are also valuable as inspection tools. During building inspections, I use drones for a close look at roofs and higher stories. I am upgrading to this drone after using the first generation Minis for about three years, which served me well. Notable improvements for me are the camera resolution and zoom feature so that I don't have to fly as close to the building and the remote controller so that I'm not fighting a dimming phone screen when it gets hot.

The new firmware update make the m3 camera a 48mp , and the bigger Cmos sensor does make the pictures better even at 12mp, so still better pics than mini2 prior to update

Could you land it on a cliff ledge an and still film or just look through the camera? How long could the battery last? There's a bird of prey by my home. I would need to land the drone when the bird is out then have to wait for it to come back as not to scare the bird . Is this even possible?

Hello Sir, after I updated my Dji mini 3 standard and my Dji Rc last night, I can’t turn off the obstacle avoidance in safety settings. Is there any option to turn off the obstacle avoidance?
