Pretend we know nothing about technical analysis and want to be able to predict overnight premarket gap-ups. Please be so kind and explain to us in the most simple and concise way possible as if you would explain it to a 10 year old, how can we predict overnight premarket gap-ups?

Silly question, this can be checked only as soon as the market opens right? So ideally market opens, you quickly run the scanner, find the good gap setups, and then play them?

FYI Finviz has a 15-20 minute delay depending what market you look at (nasdaq vs nyse). Also you can't search premarket with the free version of the site. Paid version gives you real time scans as well as premarket access.
