Ответитьlooks good- you got me wanting to customize a watch!
ОтветитьHey Slava loved this video man. I have two questions about your channel I thought I'd just post here. 1) In this video you talk about a 20% discount when buying a stainless Rolex in Cancun. Where did you get this number? I Google'd everywhere and I couldn't find any info on that. 2) When renting out your Model 3 on Turo how are you dropping off the car and getting home? Do you drive over the night before and then pay for parking and Uber? Just curious how I would make it work with a 7-3 job. LMK and happy holidays!!
Ответитьhey slava I have question in cgtrader the rolex model that are sold does that include the band with diamond settings? I'm looking to get the band with diamond setting holes in them so i can replace the original band and add a band with diamonds in it... but i have not had any luck.... I saw the model you mentioned in your video just not sure if that is the whole band clasp and bezel in one that can to be casted... again thank you for your amazing videos you the best !
ОтветитьAlways informative and helpful videos. Thanks

ОтветитьIt’s crazy that there’s a whole market behind putting diamonds on a Rolex dial and repainting them. There’s people eating out here in Miami just off those dials. Eating good, too. They probably won’t give a fuck if it changes at all! I had a client that makes dials bring me a dial they made for a brand new Rolex president with a caliber 3255, which at the time was pretty much brand new. It was commissioned by someone in the Toronto Raptors when they won the finals. It was the OBrien trophy along with a little Raptor logo. Shit was all over the placed and had a bunch of big stones of only the best SI2 quality (well only as big as the dial allowed, of course the hands had to be bent a lot to allow clearance for the minute and seconds hands, heck if I remember correctly, the idiots surrounded the dial with so many diamonds I had to tweak the hour hand to sit w but higher. So anyways, they made the dial through 3d printing, which was the worst fucking thing I’ve ever witnessed. See usually, and the right way to do it; is to get an old Rolex dial, strip all the paint off, and use that as your base. This negates the need for you to make the necessary rehauts on the dial. Well these idiots didn’t give a damn. I did all that work to make the fucking hands work and clear those piece of shit diamonds, just to put the dial on and guess what. The stem was impossible to put on due to the dial sitting so high. Maybe I could have forced it in, but once I put the movement clamps, the stem would have bent if not completely snapped. Even if it fit and was bent , it surely would have caused a whole host of issues, like the crown not screwing on, or the crown not getting to the setting position when pulled, or shit even worse, the stem breaking off later leading to the client losing the crown. Anyways, I gave back the job, and apparently they found someone to make it fit. I can only wonder what they did, all I know is that it had to be something REAL fucked up. Crazy crazy crazy stuff! Not even a month later, the same client came with a Rolex crystal that had broken off after installing a diamond bezel, cause of course they do that bullshit too. On a brand new ladies Rolex, which had a crystal gasket with a step on top as well as being a bit larger, at the time they weren’t even making them aftermarket. It’s crazy how they’re butchering luxury watches.
ОтветитьWe are WAYYYY too far into the game for y’all to be out here making bezels that aren’t waterproof. The only reason y’all can’t waterproof em is cause y’all take the easy route and don’t want to buy a lathe and learn how to make the proper cuts. There’s no excuses! At least on Rolex, I don’t wanna hear that the cuts are too hard to make. Leas complaining more innovation!! I’m a watchmaker and TIRED of people doing lazy work to watches worth thousands!!
ОтветитьCan you recommend us a to good a diamond setter for watch and jewelry.

ОтветитьQuestion. I sent my watch in to add diamonds to the case. I them reiterated to the jeweler that I wanted it to bring and look beautiful. He then wrote on the ticket something to the effect of " use Top Diamonds". I asked him what that meant and he said very good quality diamonds. Does anyone know if " top diamonds" means VS1 as being suggested?
