man i forgot the name of this game for years, i searched it but never could find it, man thanks so much, glad i've finally found it

I only just found out about this game a few hours ago and I've been watching a few vids of gameplay. I'm a fan of the old late-80s/90s combat sims like F/A-18 Interceptor (Amiga), SWOTL, Chuck Yaeger's Air Combat, F-117/F-19 from Microprose and others. Once they got more complicated, I lost interest but in watching these vids, I see most of you are into those more detailed combat sims. Every one of you has commented about how basic and simple TCA is but how it seems to get almost everything just right. And then you go fly and mid-fight every one of you has made a comment along the lines of "holy crap, this is fun!"

So I guess it's an insta-buy for me :) Nice to know TrackIR works without fiddling too, I bought that on a whim some time ago and it's always good to find something I can use it with.

Okay. So looks like they completely removed third person view and by extension the great War Thunder-like mouse movement in third person view. Sad!

It needs multiplayer IMO

I was looking at this game awhile back and was glancing over my wishlist after getting a HOTAS. I was debating picking it up, but thought I'd see if I could find some gameplay. Unsurprisingly, you've covered it. 😎 Very nice.

Drewski! I used to have migraines until going to an upper cervical chiropractor. I had a pinched nerve and after a few visits, migraines were gone after having two or three a year over 5 years. Eating ginger candy, or ginger snaps with real ginger, or ginger ale helped the migraines too. I enjoy your videos!

wow, microprose is still active o_o. I used to play theirs games in the 80s and 90s. This is so awesome.

The game definitely looks good, looks like it plays really well too. It is in DIRE need of more aircraft than just the Harrier II. It's not exactly everyone's favorite, and something like an F-4 or F-16 would definitely help bring more players to the game. It has been in development for a long time now, so more aircraft should be expected I would hope...

This game is the perfect definition of gameplay over graphics.

As the average ace combat player I can say the hud looks similar to well ace combat

Every time I load into this game I get instantly locked onto by every ground force and they don’t focus on any other planes, but when you play They just completely ignore you.

this looks like a really awesome game for people who don't have a high end pc.

i think i might be sold on this game because it almost perfectly fits into what i want, but the developer is pretty steadfast on some things including no multiplayer. But then again, i have not played this game yet. I think i'll be getting it.

The graphics look like the old IEN Warbirds from the late 90s.

This gets insane if you play on ACE difficulty with max aircraft in dogfight mode. It's super fun and you should probably try it!

Funfact, you can actually shoot the ejecting pilot and kill them.

looks fun, too bad they made the graphics fidelity THAT low. I cant play this, without getting eye cancer...

With a little better graphics it could be great. Valheim for example did a pretty good job at the graphics departement. Low poly but good materials and modern lighting...

The graphics and untextured terrain remind me of a flight sim from the 90's called "A-10 Cuba". Personally I dont like the lack of textures as it makes it harder to judge altitude without the altimeter. I prefer judging my alt by the size of the trees 😂

AIM-82 (all aspect heat seeker) where supposed to replace the AIM-9 Sidewinders on the F-15s,
but the programm was dropped quickly when the Navy started to develeop the AIM-95 Aigle.

I'm getting strong SU-27 Flanker 1.0 by Eagle Dynamics vibes ;) which is a plus. I like the way the low-poly graphics (that was necessity in 1990s) plays along with the game design. Looks cool. Hope you don't need too bulky PC for smooth gameplay. That would be a shame.

You may not see this but have you looked into possibly having epilepsy? sounds like you do from your definition, epilepsy isn't just about seizures, there are many other variations of it. I would seriously recommend googling the different types of epilepsy and see if you can match your symptoms. Have a great day though :D
