80% of the number plus the number add 32 is how i do it for easy one 300 80% means in my head I subtract 60 add it back 540 +30 so 29 i would push to 30 remove 6 so add 24 54 plus 30 is 84

A better means of calculating the conversion would be double the temperature in centigrade and then subtract 10% (rounded to a whole number) from that doubling and then add the freezing point point of Fahrenheit (32°).

In his example for 29°C = 58 -6+32= 84°F

The other example 14°C = 28 -3+32=57°F

Here's my easiest way: Celsius times 2 minus 10%; plus 32. Example: 25C = 25x2 is 50, minus 5 is 45, plus 32 = 77. I just find it easier to do that in my head otherwise I need a piece of paper or a calculator.

I noticed if around 24c-25c if you are estimating if you do (cx2)+25, not +30 for anything over 24C you get a closer number to what the actual conversion gives
