I wouldn't slaughter by using a knife to the neck because I don't like the the wheezing sound alot of them make, or the fact that they die by the cold creeping up on them as they bleed out... I mean if that's how you do it than that's fine! I'm no one to judge because I am not part of your life.. But that is just me.

Personally I would behead it with a heavy razor sharp blade, a rope tied to its neck and a flat tree stump to extend its neck over. WHACK. Done. It couldn't even comprehend what just happend.

I am sorry, but this it how not to do it. You need a clean cut for the beginning and you can't get it there you need to cut farther down it will be much faster and easy to do and less pain for the animal.
