Got one, 69 with the full top and came with the spare truck cap style as well. Red bottom, white top. Just had the transmission rebuilt in bozeman montana. It was a survivor of the yellowstone river flood a few years back, needless to say not even a window was broke, lots of silt though. Sucks, but ive delt with far worse.

Either way, its getting a frame up resto as we speak.

Personally ive delt with jeeps all my life living in arizona Colorado and Montana for most my life.

To each thier own, but the cameo style bed, its stance and wieght distribution make it very competent off road and look like one of the better jeeps ever produced.

Even before i had one myself, my uncle norm who did seach and rescue in the san juans had one for his rig looking for people in the mountains. "Back in the day", before the roads were maintained for these UTV's and van lifer people.

He also owned willys and all kinds of jeeps, however the jeepster stood out as a search and rescue vehicle for many reasons. So it chose it out of various other potential options.
