The YGSC Presents: Kate Sampson - All About Sea Turtles

The Young Gloucester Scientist's Club was inspired by Kate Sampson (NOAA Sea Turtle Stranding and Disentanglement Coordinator for the Greater Atlantic Region)! We learned all about the Sea Turtles that swim along the MA coastline and how we can help them.

What is the Young Gloucester Scientist's Club:
Supported through MBLC grant funding, The “Young Gloucester Scientist’s Club” is a monthly club for 4th through 8th graders. Circulating Kits and library produced digital content will provide children with fun learning activities to do at home, as well as in-person family programming that introduces them to Gloucester Community members with careers across a variety of STEM fields. This program will not only allow for a hands-on approach to learning and build community connections, but it will encourage children to actively think like scientists by observing, questioning and experimenting with the world around them.
