I'm sure, but you're wrong about the lure. You make fishing diffrent fish real hard if you only use that one lure.
Each lure is for a different fish.

Condom Bobber – for the Deep water fish

Hydrodynamic Lure – Increases reeling speed, for the Hard to reel in fish

Durable Lure – Longer consumption of the bait for the Gobbling up bait fish

Alluring Lure – Takes less time to catch the Evasive fish

Damping Lure – Reduces fish speed of the High speed fish

The predator fish is the only type you can’t fish, I believe and you have to shoot them or blow them up.
An easy way for this, is to take Boom Boom or Chorizo with you,
Go to a predator fishing spot in the water with a boat.
Boom Boom/ Chorizo swims after you and the predator fish will circle around him, nipping away.
Throw in a pipe bomb, go guns blazing or just use your bow. This all works fine.

I refuse to use the horrible Huge 50's style cars.

i like the game. I am about 50% out of it but i am not in the rush to finish it. The only annoying thing is that there is no fast key for changing arsenal.

Thebest tip there is for later in the game, after 50%, when you have at least 70-90% of the armor and items: There 5 gear templates, and you can swap at any time! It's OP af. you can have a set for dealing with vehicles, then switch to emp+aircraft damage, then fishing and hunting, and even holding your breath, for swimming, diving, etc....Bow+SSPG+maxed out .50cal with 6/10 scope, and the 6 shot nade launcher is my goto setup, but I love going full stealth, knives, and bows just as much, in some ways it's much more fun ^^ if you get into real trouble, whip out the pistol with some poison ammo, and instant easy mode for an experienced player. I kind of wish poison wasn't in the game, tbh, you could walk thru the entire game with maxed ammo poison AR, the croc amigo, and a machete :\ Also, switching over to controller when driving anything helps a TON, altho...I have a temp[late for speed, and I can outrun most of the vehicles with the slide buff going every 10 seconds....DON'T SELL ALL YOUR KILLS! Save at least 3 of each, because some camps have stews that give insane 6 hour buffs that help a ton. Just have fun, It's a great game to simply play whatever way you feel like going about it, even more fun in coop! ...OH, and no OP ALIEN WEAPONS in 6! >< horrible decision, FC5 devs :\

You heal by pressing Z on PC, syringes are just extra heals, in case you need one during the normal heal cool downs.

EMP arrow heads are the best way to deal with choppers

There's a few of these I think are OP and I'll try to avoid at least at the beginning. I find i tend to get bored with a game and not finish it if I unlock all the best stuff in the first chapter or two.

I wore the Fuego gloves to avoid fires 99% of the game

Also for choppers.... i use the supremo pack and gun from the treasure hunt to shoot through their armour killing the driver. Chopper crashes killing everyone inside😂

i'd go back to this game if i knew a nice woman that played it....got tried of playing it alone

The Rambo bow works pretty good on choppers

I would have to disagree that the treasure hunt missions are safe. After hitting a couple switches in Sweet Fifteen, a bunch of soldatos kept coming into the place and shooting at me.

Farcry doesn't need to be game of the year, it just needs to be a Far Cry game.

First thing: The game sucks so don't bother with it.

You can also use an LMG with explosive rounds against the choppers.. its the best way to take them down. the health bar of the choppers will just melt down like butter

use emp arrows for helicopters

Why are you saying Jara? It’s Yara. Literally every character in the game says Yara and you try to put on a spanish accent and call it something entirely different. Just use your regular voice, stop appropriating other accents my guy, it’s cringe and doesn’t work

One of the most fun games I’ve played in a while…this past year I’ve just been not having fun with games so barely been playing…I’d hop on to apex or rocket league and I’d be off in 30 min

Great is a understatement that gun is awesome

This makes me wanna go back and play it again, but damn if I didn't dump too many hours in it, so I'm still hesitant to go back. I might just get the season pass and do those, but not sure how worth it it'll be.

I wish somebody would explain why weapons don't actually magnify distance far away when aiming. The x4 and x8 seem pointless.

One of the early tutorial missions is literally about scanning cars with your phone

Grenade pull take down is lame imo. It can take your health and also alerts other enemies

Protip: actually reading what the game tells you, you would notice that in fact half of the stuff the game DOES tell you...

Regarding Choppers: rockets, missiles, grenades... all crap. LMG with explosive bullets. Turns them into swiss cheese faster than any other weapon in the game expect EMP arrows.

Personally, I rarely use vehicles except to fly. On foot or flying is best. Horses are cool but they cannot handle drops or water.

One very useful tip (PC version) - Use a trainer!

Pistols are actually awesome. Especially on guerilla mode where headshots are a must. Feels like John wick

rocket launcher backpack supremo is way faster to deal with enemies and choppers, and sometimes two choppers at once.... the rocket launcher i found meh...

Get the fishing build in the gorila camps, upgraded to the maxium, you will get the clothes that give huge buffs to fishing, upgrade the fishing rod (i only did the third upgrade which makes the rod stronger) now go fishing for the hardests fishing, there are a bunch of easy spots of catfish on the map, some of then you can fast travel directly to them, with the outfit you get 8-10 catfish every time, and you can swap than for industrial compound which can be sold gor 25 pesos each, so every fish you get worth it 210-250 pesos, easiest way to get rich on the game.
