Correction: I was wrong about regenerative braking, and many of the comments have corrected me, so see those below for an understanding on the regenerative braking process. Cheers! :)
ОтветитьHey thats where im from Savanah great vid
ОтветитьGreat review. I have the exact same model long range. It has 20k miles on it and still gets 342 miles on a full charge. I only wish they came with the gen 2 or Gen 3 home chargers. The charger that comes with it is the worst. 5mi per hour at best
ОтветитьMight trade in my 2019 Q50S for this
ОтветитьI just got a used 2021 Model 3 and for the first time I tried pushing the accelerator past half way and I couldn't believe it just kept pulling and pulling harder.
I think that's the biggest difference between gas and a Tesla. It doesn't seem to have a cut off point where the acceleration stops or is as immediate.
Been driving a standard 2wd Tesla 3 since 2019. Just got the 2022 Dual motor LR and goosed the throttle as normally would in SR+ to get around a situation and just wow!
ОтветитьIt doesn’t take heat from the brakes. The motors turn into generators and make electricity to go back into the battery.
ОтветитьDefinitely the worst walk around I’ve seen. Especially coming from an individual that does super car reviews. Really need to step up your vocabulary.
ОтветитьI have one right now as a long-term rental. My daily is a 6speed manual 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack. The Tesla is very quick but a boring experience compared to the visceral experience I get in the Stang. Also, in the current 110+ degree Arizona heat the battery efficiency is awful with the AC on. I’m not joking when I say I am losing 1 mile of range every 30 or so seconds. I drove 15 actual miles today and the range dropped from 122 to 66. The first time I charged the car it happened to be at an upscale Supercharger location, and the one closest to my house, and it cost me $1 per 10 miles of charge. That being said, I could see having one as a daily, but I could never give up 3 pedals and a roaring V8.
ОтветитьI had a model 3 2020 SR +, then I traded that car in for a Kia EV6,😊 and I had the car for 4 months and I traded that car back in for a December 2021 model SR+ as I missed the Tesla so much.
ОтветитьFifteen years ago??? President Taft had an electric car! He left office in 1913! Oil companies have been screwing us that long!!!
ОтветитьSuch a great video! Well edited and all of your reactions are the same I get when I watch Tesla videos. Keep up the great work.
Just ordered my 2022 LR Model 3. Delivery date is May 14. Whoooop!
The car is COOL and AWESOME…wait really cool!!!
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьLove Tesla. Your review was great, and you were a lot of fun to watch! Thank you so much
ОтветитьCool video! I'm working for a company that manufactures EV chargers and Adapters. We would love a video collaboration. Do you have an email address so I can send the details? Thanks!
ОтветитьNice video, but it does not use the heat of the brakes, it uses the electric motor as a generator to slow down the car and charge the battery. Motors can be used as a generator or a motor depending if it is accelerating or decelerating.
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьYou can tell that your not very familiar with this vehicle. But you are enthusiastic about it. Thanks for your review, I suspect if you read the comments here you will learn a lot more about this car.
ОтветитьI'm picking mine up tomorrow and I've watched this video like 4 times. You are really engaging to watch Nikolai :)
Ответить352 Miles
ОтветитьI drive a Nissan Leaf but want a long range tesla for the range
ОтветитьI'm not a fan of that Racing game moving the showers whilst stationary. Will definitely ruin the tyres.
ОтветитьCar may be stable not as your cam 😅✨
ОтветитьSuper car performance? You heard of handling??
ОтветитьDid they paid you?
ОтветитьIs this guy serious?
ОтветитьDrink when he says “awesome’ and kiss when he says “cool”
Ответитьthis review - not awesome
ОтветитьGood review. I like that you caught mom’s reaction too 😊
ОтветитьHello from Georgia. Great video
ОтветитьI find it funny that ppl think electrics are this new revolutionary vehicle when they existed in the late 1800s early 1900s.
ОтветитьWhat's that "hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" noise from 10m12s - 12m26s ?
ОтветитьI wish I had 1000 USD every time you say AWESOME :D
Awesome review anyway :)
The reason why you are not used to ICE cars having a lot of engine brake is probably because you are in the United States, where most cars have automatic transmission. With a manual transmission, you get a more pronounced engine brake. The reason is that automatic transmissions use a hydraulic torque converter instead of the clutch, so the engine brake when you let off the gas doesn't impact the wheels as much as it would if you had a manual transmission with a clutch instead.
ОтветитьI ordered this same exact model in july and still waiting :O should be coming within the next 2 weeks tho!!!
ОтветитьMaybe I missed it in your video. Are those aero hubcaps stock or did you wrap them? They look much darker than the stock color.
Ответитьat least it's made in "MERICA!!! The southerners in Georgia would salute you!
Ответитьregenerative braking : no nothing to do with heat. It uses electric motors which become generators of electricity when driven - by you moving forward. So regenerative braking is just the electric motors working in reverse as generators.
ОтветитьGreat review Nikolai. On top of the great performance and value which you covered in detail, the environmental advantage of an EV vs ICE cannot be overlooked. I know we car people love our ICE engines but unfortunately the planet cannot sustain the continue use of petrol. Cheers.
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьYou may want to stop abusing the word “awesome” since it makes you sound a bit not awesome
ОтветитьYou look like Elon Musk. Great video btw
ОтветитьToo bad you don`t show closeup on the screen
ОтветитьTesla makes the funnest ride 🚗 ⚡️🌍
ОтветитьNice review man. I see you move a lot 😂 very detailed though. This is my first review from you and you were very thorough I didn’t have to watch anyone else’s review on this car
ОтветитьRegen braking doesn’t use the brakes, but rather the electric motors to slow the car down and put power back into the battery. Your actual brakes can be used to slow down quicker if needed, or in emergencies but they should last the lifetime of the car as they are used very infrequently now. You can do most of a trip without using traditional brakes at all. Takes some getting used to and you do need to practice to know when to lift off the accelerator to let the regen bring the car to a complete stop all on its own.
ОтветитьGreat review and quality camera work. I generally don’t watch reviews of the model 3 anymore as i have watched so many and am definitely a fan. But you’re review was sincere and i enjoyed it a lot. Young people such as yourself appreciate the technology and i’d be surprised if u bought anything but a tesla in the future. Good luck.
