could hear. This had started w/snide remarks & escalated. I stood toe-to-toe, got threatened w/bodily harm but that person came back w/ puffy eyes and red face.

Some ppl are so damaged or mentally unwell or have toxic conditioning from their life that they don't mean to harm you, but they operate on a selfish, abusive way and will do harm. They should be avoided as well.

It is a rare and prudent man indeed who doesn't mistake kindness for weakness. The average shallow idiot does this constantly.

I've spent 23 years with a man who...let's say...gets very aggressive and has anger issues. I hate to say that our relationship survives off of my threats, responding back to his anger.
