ОтветитьI had my girls on the boat at 6 months however we kept them in lifejackets on them at least until they could swim and my youngest was swimming at 18 months and my older girl at 2 years we just started her late not that she wasn't capable they got totally use to them never asked to get them off I think they just knew it was for their safety and we never had to impress that into them. I love you guys I think you are so awesome so in love and such a happy family and I'm happy for you and both very capable. Please put them in jackets tho obviously not for your peace of mind but it gives me major anxiety. I've jumped a motorcycle 100' and 30-40' off the ground I was scared then too but part of my control was to get good at it but I did break bones learning. I'm sorry I am not telling you how to parent but when I lived in Phoenix each year 5 children would drown in pools with self closing self locking sliding glass doors and pool fences latches had to be 54"" off the ground and I filmed my one year old pushing a dining room chair across the floor saying I get the top one you get the low one and opened that self closing latching door it can happen so fast before u know what happened no matter how great you are as a parent person how careful you are it just does and please dont let it happen to you. I have all the respect in the world for both of your intellectual abilities and sailing abilities I know you are safe but kids just do dumb stuff and that's how they learn sometimes. I hope you feel me on this I hold the highest regard for you both and god bless and I pray for you I want only good things for u. Congratulations or your beautiful family big hug!.🙂😊 stay safe and safe travels. I hope I get to meet you one day, u seem like such good people and would be fun to hang out with.

ОтветитьWhat an achievement indeed! Doing what you do with kids in tow and sharing it here is quite remarkable. Congratulations on a great milestone.
ОтветитьAmazing achievement. Congratulations.
ОтветитьAwesome reminders to get out of our comfort zone and not pre-judge the outcome without trying ...safe travels.
ОтветитьThe fear is a big issue and the fact you do discuss it is really helpful.
As someone aiming to follow in your sails, it’s reassuring to know fear is part of the equation.
So many people say to me: ‘but I would be scared’.
And I answer: ‘What you think I’m not’.
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Love the channel
Ответитьcongratulations!

ОтветитьWow nice I didnt know you had a new boat the last video I saw you in Canada I need to catch up on your vids
ОтветитьSo beautiful to see the unity in the family; taking the time to appreciate one another for what they bring as a team member. I felt like I was watching a movie, specially when Ben and Ash started singing with the sound effects. Loved it.
ОтветитьAwesomeness 👌
ОтветитьHUGE year! ❤️
ОтветитьCongratulations
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьYou guys did a really amazing job with this video! So many great lessons and info! I loved it!! Keep it up and safe travels!
ОтветитьScares me to death you having a toddler standing on the back of the boat without a lifejacket/lanyard whilst underway. It only takes a moment of inattention/distraction such as a log banging into the bow, and your toddler stepping up the netting and lost forever.
ОтветитьWow! Congrats on this amazing journey. Thank you for sharing with us. You all are really an inspiration, and I have learned so much from you as a sailor and as a parent (even tho my kids are grown now)! Now you just need to learn some new sea shanties lol. Fair winds and following seas to you all.
ОтветитьYou're all adorable!
ОтветитьGreat achievement!! Congratulations
ОтветитьFantastic!
ОтветитьSo cool. Been watching a long time and always love your videos, the ups, the downs, the changes, all of it. Really love the drone shots of the family and passing the lighthouse. I don't want the adventure to stop, but I understand. This was a momentous one. Be safe.
