Yes. This happened to me. I’ve been a member since 2008, purchasing thousands of dollars of merchandise. Recently, I received one wrong product and then one WiFi plug I had bought stopped working after just one week. I had to return both items, but unfortunately this happened to me in one week. Now, I’ve been banned from asking customer questions and leaving customer feedback (so far). I’ve tried calling. I’ve had lots of apologies, but no unlocking of my account. I feel scorned and have already started to make my move away from their site to give my business to other websites, like Walmart, Target, and Wayfair.
I figured they wouldn’t last forever at the top anyway. It seems Amazon has begun its decent and the competition can finally take a huge sigh of relief.

as an Amazon shopper and a seller as well the problem here is that people will buy something now and want to return it 3 months later and leave a bad feedback to the seller. now how is that fare for all the Amazon sellers? sellers are losing lots of money like this. and yes the customer is always right I get that. but buiness wise is not right

Yea, now Amazon wants you to take your return over to the UPS Store (Which my local UPS informed me is a diferrent entity from them). Ugh, so, I brought the package back home, then finally contacted them via chat (after lots of wasted time) and asked for a return label that I could tape on myself and drop off at MY LOCAL UPS! Hope this is resolved soon!

I have news for these people bitching: brick and mortar retailers do the EXACT same. That's why you have to show an ID to return stuff. They track it and end abuse of the privilege which in the long run saves ALL of us money. Those of us who are honest end up carrying the burden of those who are not with higher prices.

Amazon will "lose customers". To be blunt, people that abuse the return policies are not customers anyone wants. Whether it's Amazon, or a family owned business makes no difference. As a small business owner myself, abuse of returns costs me $20,000 a year. That shit adds up.

You think Amazon would catch me if I do this for one item? I sold an item on Amazon about a month ago to a buyer but a couple of days after them received it they filed a complaint with Amazon saying that the item was the wrong color and model. So Amazon decided to give them back their money before making sure I received the item back to me and after trying to contact the buyer and them not responding I contacted Amazon. Amazon told me they would "look into it", but I doubt they'll make sure I get the item back or reimburse me, so now I'm trying to scam Amazon back by doing the same thing to them to make sure we're even. What are the chances I'll get caught if I do this a couple of times to make my money back?

Everybody needs to be careful Amazon did the same shit to me I place an order for $25 and the seller and Amazon charge me for it after 2 days Amazon cancelled my order and I never got my refund be careful what you buy at Amazon this is the sixth time that my orders was declined and when I called my back my bank said we're going to send you another credit card they did that and the same thing goes with Amazon be careful what you buy from Amazon and they will take your money no matter what be careful and I took and O's I promise I will not buy a stick from Amazon anymore they were charged to customers and it will not ship to orders

It's so annoying!! I had this happen to my account & they don't give you warning about it, they just banned me . I searched for solutions on how to fix it,I was lucky I found a professional on instagram by username 69DATAGEEK who helped me reinstate it.

Lol... Well... We wouldn't have to return 60 percent of purchases if they'd stop allowing the billions of Chinese sellers that they hold and ship defective, falsely labeled, counterfeit, and USED ITEMS SOLD AS NEW for on their behalf. And it's NOT my imagination that around the time AMAZON started price gouging food and home cleaning/care items (we all saw it on shipped and sold by AMAZON, it WAS NOT all third party sellers, it wasn't even MOSTLY third party gouging, the crooked corporate liars) they began raising prices on the rest, and are currently STILL above retail on a good many items... That crookedvcrap gets me so stupid bothered... 😂😂 Done. 🤐🤐🤐

Just got BANNED from reviews and had my entire history of reviews since Amazon started, and all answers, etc, deleted for leaving a review pointing out that only Amazon could be the ones giving access to my PERSONAL EMAIL to the COUNTLESS scam sellers that then begins messaging OFF OF AMAZONS SELLER/CUSTOMER MESSAGE CENTER TO ENDLESSLY ***HARASS*** CUSTOMERS TO CHANGE REVIEWS FOR MONEY. THATS SOME DAMN NERVE! 😂 I was one of the selected Top Reviewers in a few areas but got sick and tired of the china scam game and started mentioning it in reviews and BOOM. Guess they don't like their negligence and complicity being out out there...... Seems they waited until I started pulling my business and my purchase dropped to nearly nothing... 🤷😂😂
If I can't warn about shitty products I receive and dishonest scumbag tactics and the reversal of once having low prices, to being overpriced and gouging across the board, then I'll gladly move the bit of business I still gave elsewhere. Boo hoo... Poor me... No more Amazon. And now they're talking about changing the return policy saying there's too many because of shady buyers, ignoring the fact that when you CHOOSE to sell an insanely large collection of scammed out fraud goods for a nation of largely crooked sellers of counterfeits, defects, non functional, falsely labeled goods, you're GOING to have the returns to match. They should be thanking the gods that A LOT of people are so fed up they don't care to bother with returns or feel "bad" or too spineless to do so. If EVERY crappy, scammy sale got returned to Amazon where it came from I think UPS would give up (or maybe open an entire division JUST to do Amazon return runs 😂. Seriously. It's gotten Bad... Yeah i just got the return items back to my house snd found out a customer return 4 breaker that are worth $1000
My guess is that this person send me back broken items and he make $1000 dealing the items again on ebay or amazon

Amazon is right about banning bad buyers/scamers/buy and return abusers. I have been selling on Amazon for a long time. I can tell you that switch item crimes are very common.

No more Amazon for me, I returned a 2020 ipad pro, it was delivered to a fulfillment center in Las Vegas, now after more than 60 days they didn't process the return and won't refund my money, almost 800 dollars, very poor customer service this days

Amazon just banned my account. I returned like 5 items In a year . I did not get a any letter stating i cannot return my items. If so i would have just kept it . To banned someone straight out like that no warning at all , That says a lot about a company and people who work for that company . I also bought the Alexa devices i cant use them at all . Waste of money . I should have just went with Google Nest or something. I called customer service there were no help . i did not get any link to an appeal or anything . Banned for returning like 5 items in a year and that was i think last year or this year combined . been wit amazon for like 10 years or so .. Would never buy there anymore ,

Don't ban the people returning the junk they receive. Ban the people selling the trash and defected products. I am ready to go back to brick and mortar shopping. If I take the time to order something online, it is something I need, I don't want to return it. But I have gotten orders where items have been sent to me already used, some have parts missing, some have looked like they were picked from the trash, wrapped and sent to me. I am not sure if I will order from Amazon anymore. Too risky.
