Sorry, I'm think there are Artisans in other countries that can also do this. This is just all marketing really
ОтветитьThe earth is not a sphere. It is flat. It does not rotate. It is covered with a solid dome. We live in God's terrarium.
This video is propaganda.
Exactly why indeed....
ОтветитьThey’re so expensive because they’re getting paid so much from NASA to keep the globed earth lie alive!
ОтветитьThis is for dummies with a lot of money
Ответитьat least it is affordable than Japanese scissor
ОтветитьCant it be 3D printed now? - at least the smaller ones should be possible
Ответитьthis is the most hilarious bullshit I've seen recently
Ответитьthey only reason their job is not done mostly by machines is because rich people like handmade stuff.
this is nice as a hobby, as a job it's just lost human productivity
I can't believe they're pretending that cutting something along a line precisely is a skill that's worth money
I think this is the most pointless feature I've seen on this channel, by quite a margin
a bunch of idiots making inaccurate objects, earth has a different shape you know
ОтветитьBut wait, didn’t anybody tell them that world is flat?
I imagine they will be so embarrassed when they find this out.😄
So it's an expensive toy for rich people, right.
Ответитьwhat a waste
Ответитьstill doenst make sense why it's so expensive
ОтветитьA lot of geopolitics can change in two years.
ОтветитьWhat a great episode. This is why China can never compete at the top end of markets.
Ответитьridiculous
ОтветитьTLDR: low experience workers makes mistakes. These mistakes increase production time and labor cost. They charge customers for their mistakes.
ОтветитьIt's expensive because people want you to waste money. I have a Globe at home from 1990. It's just decoration nowadays. You'll never use it. No one gives a shit if it is handmade or not. It's something completely arbitrary that shouldn't exist. They waste resources for something that no one needs.
ОтветитьIt takes 18 month for someone to apply glue precisely.
In contrast, it take few months to design, and another few to use machine to mass produce stuff at lower cost.
For instance, computer chip contains billion of switch, transistor, and no one will rely on people to do that. That nanometre accuracy is doable by machine. Don’t really know why not use robot to just glueing and cutting stuff.
a bit confused, why are the globes painted by hand when the borders and features seem to be printed out?
ОтветитьI don't know why but this seemed a little pretentious. Why paint the globe when you are already fine with printing them. Why not just print the topographic colour as well. That would be more accurate as well.
ОтветитьI see that it is expensive because it is extremely inefficient production.
ОтветитьMeanwhile I been failing to put screen protector on my phone just right.
ОтветитьIt must of happened where they have literally been 90% done on a globe and then someone has completely fucked up to the point where the globe had to be scrapped.
ОтветитьI wonder how they portray Crimes and other occupied parts of Ukraine.
ОтветитьCall me an uncultured swine but laying flat paper over a sphere doesn't seem like the way to go for accurate quality globes lol, "entirely handmade except the parts that aren't"
Ответитьlol THere is a sucker born every minute. Narcissists make people a lot of money
ОтветитьIf you're in on this hype then ur dum
ОтветитьWhy are this expensive globes - perfect spheres, when Earth is not a perfect sphere?
ОтветитьSo, the rich really do have nothing better to do than to spend money on a false image of something they know nothing about. Nice irony, love it.
ОтветитьI'm surprised they use paper and glue, to be honest. I kind of assumed those high end globes would be painted/printed directly onto the sphere. Maybe even carved
ОтветитьWell, the Earth is not perfectly spherical ;)
ОтветитьThe fact they "pay attention to detail" and get the names and locations of cities wrong 😭
ОтветитьOr invest in a laser cutter and train that cutter guy to glue. suddenly you got 2x capacity
ОтветитьWow what a great advertisement for this absurd product! How much did they pay you to make this video?
ОтветитьAfrica is small
ОтветитьSo pretentious rich person trash basically.
Ответитьthat sounds like SUCH a boring job. you do the same thing over and over again and arent even allowed to make even the slightest mistake.
i also dont think these people get paid much as its pretty much a job in which you dont need any sort of higher education.
They focus on it being a "perfect sphere"....but the earth itself isn't a perfect sphere. So, artistry vs accuracy? Can you request accuracy first? Bet it costs more...
Ответитьsomehow all of the workers look like they're all leftists.
ОтветитьSo you pay thousands for an "accurate" globe... that is a sphere... cause you know, earth definitely isn't a deformed blob.
Ответитьwhat a waste of time and money.
Ответитьthis looks like a hippy hischool shop project haha, but its neat
ОтветитьMost of this could be done better by machines, even with custom cartography. But cool globes.
ОтветитьLmao what if this mockery? ‘It takes 1 HOUR to paste a big globe’ why was this so emphasised lol. 1 hour is literally nothing. Sit down, ain’t doing anything special. 6 years to call urself expert? People have being practising art for generations and still don’t call themselves expert. Be humble, this was a dumb, rich white guy video.
ОтветитьSo this is an extremly expensive decor ball.
ОтветитьIt's interesting to watch the craft, but it's just a waste of money for people who want to chase purchasing highs.
Ответитьwouldn't it go out of date too fast to be worth its price? new country border lines change about every five years, I wouldn't want an out of date globe that costs that much.
Ответить
