How I take notes as a Math major using Vim + LaTeX

Did you have any issues with Synctex working with zathura? If so, how did you solve them? I am running vimtex on an updated Ubuntu container and I believe recent versions of zathura don't support synctex, which synchronizes the text editor and pdf viewer.

The documentation recommends a workaround: "build zathura from source, manually"; but I thought I did that with "apt-get install zathura -y" in the Dockerfile, after installing vim.

I used skim rather than zathura for mac, and there's no id issue there

Your ideas are all over the place. You should consider scripting your videos so you can lay down what you want to share before recording.

hey im still very bad with working with terminal, neovim, and all things latex. When i make a .tex file the directory gets filled with a bunch of additional files, im assuming these are needy for things to function properly but is there a way around it so make directory is cleaner. Its very distracting (especially for someone who has trouble with focus) seeing all those files gets on my nerves. any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for a great video and for your template! However I have an issue, for some reason the plus sign is not visible in math mode (i.e in $$ or in \begin{equation} \end{equation}). Has anyone encountered a similar issue and can help me?
