my question is what is really the difference between Chatgbt and cody for example?
Because when I work and i want to refactor something or check if I'm using best practices I can do the same with Chatgbt..
I just copy the code and ask it 'Hey what I could do to optimize the code for readability and maintainability?'
and it just tells me if I follow guidelines and how I can improve the code.

Also it may sound silly, but certainly say please and thank you, to AI tools. According to tech guru Kim Komando. it matters, since there are humans behind this. Bard, is great! I keep forgetting to try Copilot...only a 30 trial?? Hmm, maybe later lol. Bard, has been working for me so, I'll have to stick to that for now.

I'm using GitHub copilot and copilot chat on my job (and privately) but I am a bit let down by how useful it is. Or lack of usefulness.. The code and functionality I ask for is not so often useful or the thing I need. Which often are very specifict things in our system. However it is great to refresh your thoughts or get new ideas if I get stuck and need a new perspective. And I can ask it questions that sometimes I would not ask colleagues which would be too embarrassing lol. Its also only $10 a month which is a totally reasonable price for the times I actually have use for it 😊

Have you tried using the different developer ide’s? Have your tried using all the it code analysis tools? Also you know the different software applications, coding languages and components that make up the development lifecycles?

Regex - say working with strings or replacing numbers with strings is understandable. It might me a simple task - declare arrays and concat them, but then trust something your lecturer has to say. This regex logic can be memorable, but easily forgotten if not using it frequently. All of this is solved by using latest Visual Studio for someone who catches Lady Inerva Flask to think about changing it to professional/unlimited account.
