Four years late so someone else probably pointed it out, but you can also get Open Season by just shooting people. I did a run with Preston as a companion. Unfortunately he doesn't really have any dialogue (aside from asking to leave, constantly), even if you instantly kill Gage in the arena without bothering to hear him out.

It's a shame because would've been a cool addition to the game; Minutemen run through the gauntlet and then liberate Nuka-World.

When it comes down to each gang turning on the player gage seems only shocked or disappointing if mags or Nisha is the one who betrays when mason does he don't seem shocked or disappointed like he must have guessed that the pack would the one who would betray not the other two

After the gauntlet I took out all of them. Turned the power on and the gangs were in a few ambush locations. Total love nuka world 🥤. I have to finish nuka world and far harbour because Boston freezes like crazy.

So as the general of the minutemen if I then become the leader of the raider factions they'll still ask me to save settlements every 5 minutes but Preston won't go for beers with me anymore

Yeah raiders would not have fun trying to attack my settlements every one of my settlements has 150 plus defense turrets everywhere

For Godsake...bethesda really doesn't understand why it's a terrible thing to make us leader of everything in their games. At the end of it, we still do the dirty work because beth is unable to upgrade the gameplay to allow us the play as the Boss for once. Fucking Idiots. All of them.

Honestly Bethesda just pisses me off they basically lock you out of being able to get the good stuff in the nuka world dlc if you do a good play through the only thing they need to change in my mind to actually make this workable it to make it so nothing really changes if you peacefully take over only two settlement to complete the dlc and then turn on raider at the end of the dlc making so everything thing is still normal they mess up so much with the dlc because they don’t think about what player have already done before the even released the dlc

I tried the pickpocket power core glitch thingy on gage while in sanctuary & got caught, a shootout ensued aaaand do not know what to do now haha
