Install Windows 11 on Old PC | Simple install.wim hack | Quick and easy install

I have this computer that runs windows 10 right now but it was a custom version that looks like windows xp. But I can’t do most things my other laptop can. So I am going to use this method. Thanks! I really thing this will work

help me bro, Is intel core i3 run windows 11? and works on laptop? my laptop is 10 years old and it runs on windows 10 22h2.

I been using this method on 3 computers since win 11 came out. Everything works great. Gets all updates. Will activate if you have a copy of win 10 previously, even with a clean install. Only problem found. It won't allow me to create a backup image. I have 2 drives built in. Won't work with external drive either. I have another computer, that has all the requirements for win 11, and has a normal copy of win 11. It has no problem making the image. I just use image software, works ok. Not a major problem.

This indeed works, Win 11 for me is just an old Win 10 with a new shell, but it still is a crap OS, Linux is a lot better than this, you have full power of your computer, and now lots of Linux apps are now direct replacement of Windows software.

Yes this is by far the easiest way to install win 11 on older hardware which is still well capable of running win 11

Followed instructions exactly, still windows 10 when done? Does the original windows 10 installation need to be uefi?

Hi, when i launch the setup app, it gets to checking updates 9% and crashes. Any ideas?

This is weird. I do NOT have this install.wim file on either W10 or 11.

Any ideas?
