Drugs dull your dopamine transfer. It produces more dopamine than anything we do. Then the more you do the drug the more you only receive dopamine hits from that drug.

I am in full time recovery from cocaine addiction!! I suffered with horrendous cravings regular! understanding how addiction works with the dopamine was a key ingredient to overcoming my addiction, once we understand something like addiction and how our brains react, it can help us to move forward. ih ope everybody is well and at peace :)

It's crazy the effects drugs have on a person. I injected amphetamine/meth for 11 years and 5 years before I took a lot of cocaine. Also the last 2 years a lot of crack cocaine as well as amphetamine. I've been abstinent from all drugs for 2.5 years. But I still have strange twitches and tics that I think are from my drug use. But it doesn't bother me that much I'm the happiest I've ever been. The only times when I really struggle is when the paranoia and anxiety hit me. But its not as often anymore. If your struggling with addiction. There is hope. Trust me if I can stop so can you 💯 🙏❤️
