ОтветитьNah dude u missed out the most important ingredient. Rock sugar, its less sweet than other sugar and is used in red braise and brown sugar just isnt doing it

Keep the peel
Hang it somewhere where it can dry out and where chemicals never reach (for example if you spray bug spray in your house)
The peel keeps forever
And when you cook this dish put a small piece of that peel in it when you simmer
The piece should be the size of a bottle cap
Don’t over do it cause too much can kinda ruin the taste
It brings this dish to another level

ОтветитьLooks moist brown sugar in the video but is normal brown demerara sugar OK? And it looks more than tablespoon in the video.
Also had this slightly bitter burnt taste. Too much heat while simmering?
