The audio designer did a great job of making the screams sound like auditory hallucinations, especially by the end. In other words, you get an idea of how the incident would haunt him well after it happened

I don['t know whether it was because of tinkering on our TV settings but this explosion sounded ridiculously loud on our speakers lol. I mean otherwise the sound-mixing sounded fine on the show

I think one thing we all got to remember is that Hank did meet Tortuga before all this so it wasn’t that he was shocked to see a severed human head on a tortoise but to see the head of someone he met that ratted out the cartel on a tortoise with the words written “Hola DEA” on it which signifies that not only the DEA knows about the operation but so does the cartel

I was Army for 22 years. Hank is shaken up from seeing the severed head; that means he is a good person and fully understands the gravity of what he is involved in. His reaction to seeing the Tortuga highlights his humanity. When the bomb goes off though, he leaps to action. Hank is brave; you cannot be brave without being scared. Hank always acts when he is scared and he is competent. Hank is a guy I would want to serve with. Lots of folks wanted to like Walter White in this show, but it's really Hank who is the guy who became likable as Walter became more despicable.
