The beta version of after effects supports 3d files now but I can’t work out how to put the screen that I already animated on the phone, I’ve tried doing it in a new comp but then I put that back in the main comp and it’s 2d, I can probably make the screen a 3d element and parent it to the phone model to animate them together but it’s a pain bc I know that if I used element 3d I could keep the glass texture over the screen but element 3d costs like $300 so uhh no thanks..

Yall you can do it in a easier was then duplicating, all you have to do is click alt and at the same time click z position (the numbers will turn red) then you just change the text and write index, copy + paste they layers then it automatically does it 🤪
