Another nice video there. If neon lights work on ionization, then why at all you need the parallel wiring?

I’ve been playing with the same phenomenon but using the bulbs from the flash segment of old cameras. I’d love to see you do an adaptation to this devise but using old flash bulbs. I think you’d find it very awesome. Love the channel Jay. Go hawks!

Jay, Could you give me a reason why the lamps which are close (or touching) to my fingers illuminate before the lamps close to the coil??? I am running a slayer and sometimes, while using this array, My capacitive coupling to the array lights the lamps as I am bringing the array toward the slayer... Why are the lamps closer to the power, not lighting???? interesting

If you wired the lights like neopixels and monitored the voltage on each light over time, and tracked the movement of the panel in space like those cameras that image a complete object so you can 3d print the objectb you would have the data to draw the entire magnetic field around the object

On the dead spot:

You, a living water bag, are coming electrical potential and shifting the field strengths \ lines, creating new fields around you.

Very nice ! I have to made my own! :P soon ! About the gap on the field, i'm not sure but when i use a slayer circuit on my tesla coil, the right resonance is around 1Mhz and my neon bulb turn on everywhere on the length of the coil, but, one time i've notice than my frequency was the double, aroun 2Mhz (i've change the primary turn number and else) and this time, there were a node right in the middle of the coil who turn on the light, at the top nothing, the bottom nothing. So for conclude maybe it's about the wavelengths and maybe you interact with the field and the wavelength. (body capacitance maybe)
I'm reaaaaly not sure about that.

The reason for the void in the middle of the Tesla coil is because it creates a rotational field and the middle is where it begins and ends simultaneously creating the void we see

Hi. Loving the channel currently binging your videos. Could you suspend them in an clear epoxy to create something 3 dimensional?
You would need to either pull a vacuum as it sets to degas or increase the air pressure to shrink the bubbles. The benefit with increased air pressure is you can use a faster setting epoxy

So if I'm understanding this, it detects high voltage EMF? What about one that can detect weaker fields like a K2 meter. This would be popular with ghost hunters like me. I'm in the process of building your lightning detector to see if spirit can manipulate it.

Interesting idea! I'm thinking since each bulb absorbs some good amount of energy to light up, it might effect the fields pattern around it. I can't think of a better way not to disrupt the original fields though... maybe some sort of tiny active battery powered circuit??
