Signal Going to Cloud? A Discussion with Sean O'Brien

I am using for default SMS/MMS Signal, because for my opinion is better than google messages. Obviously with Signal only the contact who are using Signal the SMS and all the kind of messages are encrypted. Silence the last version for Android (0.15.13) was update on March 26, 2018 more the two years ago. My personal opinion if you don't have nothing to hide the best choice are Telegram to replace WhatsApp, and Signal to replace google messages into the stock Android smartphone. The last thing I forgot to mention was that, what do you think about Session or Briar? Please if you have any suggestions do not hesitate to reply to me, I really will appreciate that.
