This recipe doesn’t really work. I tried it twice. I think the amount of water is wrong Bc it’s way too sticky and then if you don’t add enough rice flour you have to figure out how much sugar or baking powder to add.
ОтветитьI made these with regular glutinous rice flour and i had to make a starter dough. The donuts were delicious, it was super chewy and the outside of the mochi was a bit hard but i loved it. Its my first time trying mochi donuts so i dont really know what the taste or consistency is supposed to be like but i personally really liked it.

ОтветитьI made these doughnuts yesterday. The water quantity is way too much and it made the batter super wet, but I kept adding more and more rice flour to the batter until I felt like the consistency was perfect. It tasted amazing. It was just like the ones from Mochinut. Really good recipe, just add more rice flour when the batter gets too wet.
ОтветитьWhy is the outside of the mochi hard? Inside is perfectly chewy. I followed exact instructions and attempted few times with the same result.
