Bei Better Call Saul handelt es sich um die Spin-off-Serie zum AMC-Erfolg Breaking Bad. Während dort die Geschichte des gescheiterten Chemielehrers (Bryan Cranston), der als Herrscher seines eigenen Meth-Imperiums endet, im Mittelpunkt der Geschichte stand, widmet sich Better Call Saul einer Nebenfigur der ursprünglichen Serie. Namentlich handelt es sich hierbei um Saul Goodmann (Bob Odenkirk), einem durchtriebenen Anwalt, der alles andere als eine sauberer Weste hat. Egal ob Schmiergeld oder Geldwäsche: Wenn Saul einen profitablen Ausgang eines Geschäfts wittert, ist er sofort an Bord und hat sich dementsprechend in gewissen Kreisen bereits einen legendären Namen gemacht. Kein Wunder, dass gerade Walter White und Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) hinsichtlich ihrer höchst illegalen Crystal Meth-Brauerei auf Saul als Anwalt sowie späteren Komplizen in Breaking Bad zurückgreifen.

When I first heard there was going to be a prequel to breaking bad, I thought really? We’re gonna follow the lawyer? But after watching it, it was amazing. Saul Goodman was a very complex character and I love that everything comes full circle at the end.

He pretty much is Michael Scott. I can totally see how he almost took that role from Steve Carrell.

This trailers tone is so different from the final season trailer that it's like a completely different show. Goes to show how much jimmy went through.

Does Walter, Skylar, Or Pinkmans story get brought up in any season. If so which ones? I want to hear/see the cameos. I saw a mike cameo so now it makes me think it’s a prequel. I just finished the original breaking bad and I personally feel they should of ended a few more of the ties off. What happens to pinkman, skylar, Marie, the 2 greymatter people. I feel there is truly enough room for a breaking bad 6th season just to wrap up all the loose ends. Just my olio though

Been watching this, once Jimmy's brother died. Jimmy's story became boring to watch. If it wasn't for Mike and the other guys I'd be done.

I never watched this show but saw someone making a comment about it. I thought I would check out this trailer to see if it would be worth it. I am confused as no where in this trailer is the name Saul mentioned except when they are stating the name of the show. Also, were it not for looking at the comments I would have no idea it's connected to Breaking Bad, (another show I haven't seen but have heard enough about.)

This show started with Howard being the "villan" all the way back to this trailer with that "what can we do for ya jimmy" and now his death saddens and makes us look at saul in a different way even when we already knew where he was heading

So I tried watching breaking bad and I could not finish it after they dissolve those people but after watching this show I think I’m gonna give it another try ! (My husband was obsessed with breaking bad & now we’re separated because he is a meth head)

I have never in my life seen a more scary scene than in season 4 episode 2 where gustavo Fring suffocates Hector’s guy with a plastic bag. I was about to throw up watching that scene
