4 Hours of Old-School Dungeon Synth & Medieval Dark Ambient - Part. I

A new kind of format - maybe this will interest some of you instead of a playlist, for your walk in the woods, visits of gloomy and abandonned ruins, RPG sessions playing or while reading the LOTR.. !
OKAY the video is not exactly 4hours but I'm already wondering who will stay until the end ahah..

ANYWAY, let me know what yout thought about it, the choice of artists etc... if this format is successfull, a Part. II will come soon, and I'll try to explore new "subgenres" of Dungeon Synth. I'm also open to suggestions so don't hesitate to give some ideas !

Good ambience, but the croaky background voice on some tracks can be distracting. It's like an old Scandiwegian man with bronchitis wandered in while they were recording and started muttering about his grocery list. And then they decided it sounded cool and left it in.

Dungeon synth was supposed to be atmosphere for dungeons, caves, prisons, but 95% of the albums I'm searching are upper atmospheres, nothing to do with underground, some even have lyrics. The few ones who gets it are probably Depressive Silence and Secret Starways.

This is truly a very deep kind of some "classical or new age music" of our times! therefore most of these musical artists do really deserve a very special place in the writen musical history of our times! however, as someone has already said in this channel: this music is so underground that even these musical artists themselves must really have a hard time whenever they're just trying to find out about where and when their own music is being sold somewhere in world! now let alone getting at least a little bit of money for at least a little part of their own music! but hopefully this very sad and even very painful situation will change sometime and somewhere in the future world! as everyday more and more people in the world are just getting to know them better! and even getting to know more about this special kind of music! and about these very highly talented musical artists! 👍
