Slava Ukraine!
Can anyone tell me the title of the third song. It is sooo beautiful. Thank you.
Your commentary is pretty ironic. First song, Carol of the Bells, is an ancient New Year's PAGAN prosperity blessing appropriated by a Christian. Stop imposing your religious beliefs on people.
As i listen to this streaming throughout my home and I prepare for dinner i feel very verkplempt, Missing my parents and family that are gone. Thankful for growing up in a Ukrainian household. and realize what a beautiful heritage I have.
Song is the soul of the Ukraine people, these carols you can feel the soul of the Ukraine people. They have been subject to harsh and authoritarian treatment. We must do all we can to help the people fight the Russians
❤️
May our Lord introject Peace and Good Will between Ukraine and Russia. 1 Timothy 1:3-6 3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may [a]charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. 5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from [b]sincere faith, 6 from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, 7 desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.
Ukranian language is perfect for singing. Very beautiful!

Both my parents were from around Lviv / Lwów. On both sides, one grandparent was Polish, the other Ukrainian. My Mom met my Father's Aunt as a little girl, I have a photo - and yet my parents met and married in Toronto. They are both gone, I live in Paris and love these carols. My Father's last name was Filip. He was an officer in Poland after the war. During he was in Divisija. I am hoping to find a half-brother I have never known. Born late 40's - early 50's. Christmas is a time for miracles.
I'm from Ukraine. These carols are completely alien to me. These are songs of some peasants from the century before last, which we have not been for a long time. Now these ethno-chants are of interest only to radical Ukrainian nationalists. The people who rejoice in this are from the Western Ukraine regions, who were the last to fall under the influence of urbanization.
In truth I am very happy and grateful to hear Christmas carols of the birth of our child GOD Jesus. A Peruvian Catholic Christian 🇵🇪 (South America). Blessings. A friend José Antonio
