Wait, if the new ones still aren’t selling well, then there’s no excuse! I wonder how much to 14+ sold % wise.
Also how much the IPHINE SE2 sold since they technically then had that as a small screen option too.

It took them so long to release a mini iPhone again that a lot of us had relented and gotten an SE already. Then it was way too expensive to justify the cost once it did come out. The whole thing was a huge bummer.

They misunderstood the market. I HATE large iPhones. I use an iPad for "that". I "need" the pro features (camera, chip, RAM, etc.). However, I wanted those "PRO" features in the mini. I mean, I don't want to hold my iPad to my face to speak on the phone. Anyway, very disappointed they never made the mini Pro. I wold be all over the IPhone 15 Mini Pro.

Every phone bigger then 4.7 is not an iPhone to me 😅 i like them small and compact. I started to get confused about all the different iPhones and the size differences. There once was only one iPhone, and i bet Apple would have sold that single iPhone much better then they think.

The problem is the mini is stealing sales of more expensive iPhones. Multiply that to 100usd each…that’s a lot of lost sales

I am going to make a bold assumption and say that this is because they are making the SE a lot like the mini. It still doesn’t explain too much as to why they would abandon it with the 14 though since it would only affect the iPhone 15.

I used my friend's 13mini for some time.

It was love at first sight. That form factor with that performance !! What's not to like. I would for sure get an iPhone 15 mini if they start production again. Which I hope they do.

As someone that has used an iPhone 12 Pro Max since it came out. And just bought a mini last week…
I can say that I would’ve bought a mini without a doubt if it had a pro version.

The battery was naff and the materials used were not Pro.....That's the reason for poor sales.
I'm a perfect example, those are the 2 main reasons I didn't buy a mini, instead I got a 12 pro & then a 13 pro 😏 Neither are my ideal phone size

They never should cut the mini models out of the line, yeah sure…. Some people like big screens, some like smaller phones.
Keep the mini, but keep production lower compared to others.
Also apple didn’t see much sales on their other models because they didn’t account for the fact that some model updates simply don’t get that many sales.
The iPhone X, and XR did well, because they were better steps towards a better lineup. But then the XS didn’t do so well, cuz it didn’t bring much when the X and XR were great. Every other model doesn’t seem to do well much, cuz of how opinions of apple changed about making good models, and cuz of how they have such a good design philosophy about these things with those continual updates keeping each model good for 5 years.
Like if you upgrade every other model since whichever one you started with, then that’s fine. Like if you went from an 11 to a 13, or have a 12 right now, the 14 lineup might be appealing to you with the new features they have.
But everyone is comfortable with their iPhones right now, cuz the 11, 12, and 13 models are peak iPhone in their eyes. Even if the features are good, the price being the same as the other launch models is stupid.
The base iPhone 14 is still 1100 cad like every other base model since the iPhone XS, and they haven’t changed that at all. At least the new base model of the 13 mini makes it a better high spec but low cost model at 850, even if it’s still not popular, having that option is a good thing.
Which is why apple should just make an SE plus, since that would wide the range of price better. Doesn’t matter if one model makes 7% of sales VS. one making 21%, people still bought it because they wanted that one against all others. Plus the base model always gets more, because the pro max is still more expansive, and not always worth it because 120Hz is useless outside of games.
Who cares about smoother scrolling, that’s useless because 60hz is fine for scrolling shit.

Went from a 7 plus to the 12 mini, which turned out to be my favorite phone yet by far. Worse battery life is a compromise id take everyday over having such a big and heavy phone. I really do hope they reintroduce the mini model sometime in the future, before my 12 mini kicks the bucket🫣

I think if they gave a Mini "Pro" or had larger memory capacity options for the Mini version, it would do far better. No on wants to feel like they are getting short changed that much for a smaller form factor.

I sell phones in retail, and I experience that the iPhone that has no prefix will allways sell the most units. I often have to make my customers aware of the differences between the different 12s, 13s and 14s. They usually come in asking for an iPhone (number) because it is easier and safer.

I love my 13 mini. I’ve even thought about buying another one to have as a back up. However, and this might sound crazy, but I think they should’ve made it even smaller

my girl has the 12 mini and i still have the 12 pro cuz the blue is the best color they made and i dont want to upgrade it lol but i have multiple friends with the mini and know a lot more people with the mini than the pro i actually like the mini a lot its the perfect size for a phone and i wish they would start making more phones that size i miss when phones were smaller big ass phones are so stupid we have ipads for that if you want something with a big ass screen just buy the fuckin ipad like a normal person phones aren’t supposed to be so damn big that you need 2 hands to use them 🤦‍♂️ goofy’s 😔

I think the iPhone 14 Plus is massive failure compete with mini is the most expressive phone in the world with 60hz. Phone they should at least give iPhone 13 pro max camera on 14 plus and 120hz for massive price of iPhone 14 plus compete s23 plus its a joke that apple disappointing non pro line up while samung give you a pro. Line up with regular and the plus 💀💀💀

Mini lost because of the battery. Hopefully in future with better battery mini will be reintroduced and i will have my hands on one

Watching this on Iphone 12 mini. The battery life is abysmal but I still really love this phone since magsafe powerbanks/apple power pack can easily extend its life. I don't think I'm changing to other iPhones anytime soon since I love the minis so much. Hoping that apple wpuld bring back the mini line in 16

All I want is a small iPhone with good battery life... I have the SE 2020 and it's just sad. iPhone 15 mini with USB-C, fast charging and decent battery life and I'm down for it.
