You hooked me when you mentioned “Can’t You See”. “Meeting The Master” is one of the best rock songs I’ve ever heard, and I’ve been a rock&roller since the 70’s. This song is brilliant IMO.

So many of their songs are so poetic, ephemeral, mystic, and beautiful. Almost all their songs take me on an emotional journey, and I’d make that trek again.

When my husband sees me having a bad day.. he’ll ALWAYS put Greta van fleet on to lift my mood and it always works. They’re just perfect. You can just shut your eyes and drift away for a bit and you come back feeling so refreshed.

Since this song was dropped, I have listened to it almost on a daily basis. Every time, I listen to it, I hear something different or feel something different. I understand what you are speaking of regarding how much this song makes you miss your wife and the connection you both had to music. My father was my music mentor. (also a DJ/Radio announcer my whole life) He would have LOVED this. He would have cried to it, he would have smiled ear to ear listening to it, he would have taught me more about it than I think I know now. Its still hard to believe that we can't listen to it together. I'm with you, Mr. Clark. I'm with you.

This song makes me think of a freind who is gone now. We used to have such deep talks about life, the universe, and our place in it. Our talks meant so much to me. I will never forget the impact he made on my life.

Been obsessed with this band ever since I found them last summer. They have helped me through extremely tough times and I get to see them live in just over a week now. I’m so excited and happy to hear you talk about them in such a positive light and I hope you continue to dive into their discography more. My personal favorite is Age of Man and Tears of Rain.

It’s really great to have someone with your background and musical experience hear the same qualities and talent in this band’s musical abilities as we do. It irritates me when someone says the opposite. I agree, they’re very intelligent individuals, as you can tell from their interviews.

Would you consider teaching a class for husbands to help them have the appreciation for their wives like you have for yours? I say that sort of tongue-in-cheek because I know it’s not that simple, but it would be amazing….😊

So many GVF songs touch my soul. Broken Bells, Age of Man, New Day, Trip the Lightfantastic....Meeting the Master is a brilliant song. Tears every single time I listen. Just glorious. Very, very talented young men. Best shows I've ever been to. The Red Rocks show changed me life!
