For now, you're actually able to play the older version of Teardown on steam. There's a beta branch called prev_build, and it's just Teardown 1.4. Works with mods.

I just got teardown on my computer and I got it during the steam sale, I saw a dlc and all the stuff was 3-4 dollars, maybe 2-3 so I just bought it because why not? I thought saber interactive was always there with it. But like… I can’t play the game, I try to load the campaign, the word loading stops getting big and small, I try to load the sandbox, and guess what? I WON’T LOAD! Thanks saber, I wanted this game forever 2-3 years and this year was the year I remembered the Black Friday sale and got it. Now I CAN’T EVEN PLAY THE GAME

It runs great on console

I got it on ps5 and it crashed in the first 5 minutes so I restarted the game. Then it crashed again after about 10 minutes. Only the second time it crashed so hard the game became corrupt and I had to completely reinstall it to try again. 🤦‍♂️

teardown got tore down..

the new modernisation update completely broke Teardown, it was nice blocky, and not round, but then they did this, this, this broke the whole game. It didn't allow me to spawn objects (after spawning them my hammer would swing and destroy it), it didn't allow me to open other outside tabs, the game broke big time. It's like Stormworks: Build and rescue update, but way, way worse.

Wait, if there's an ability to bring back old Teardown, is there? A modded community might understand, Idk why I'm thinking of this, this sounds so so so incredibly so super duper duplicato impossible, but I'm thinking that of course, they sold the game, but they know how to make it... Right? ykw I feel crazy, idc about what you comment, comment what you think.
