I just can't wait fot the global release! This game is what I've been waiting for , it looks literally as improved version of my all time favourite mmo Lineage2 , which I've played for years. Well it kind of makes sense though,considering Ncsoft made Lineage2 as well 😅

Lost Ark has had many P2W things removed and that's also a Korean MMO brought to the west by Amazon.
We might see that change made for Throne and Liberty as well.

I've been waiting for Lineage II successor. Black Desert was kinda cool but not quite there. This game got me hyped. It's F2P but I can already tell I will drop hundreds of euros on it.

It's bad. Every dollar I might spend on it is INSTANTLY devalued by anyone willing to spend more. That is the real reason pay to win fails. Even whales leave eventually because they begin to feel how truly pointless their spending is. No one cares if you win if you did it by playing a separate, different game. They just don't like you.

Sadly, no time to invest in shit like this. Stay away from P2W games. Cancer.

Just played until lvl 30, archer wand build range dps with heals, the game looks amazing , like the best graphics for an mmo ever, the detail is incredible, the combat is mid for pve but gvg pvp is unreal, every area has to be battled over. The game is a bit grindy but nothing too hectic. Can’t wait until global release this will be my new main!

i think its a good thing that combat starts off simplistic and slow instead of just throwing u into deep water. makes it easier to get ur grip on the game and makes proggres more interesting i think

Now looking forward to this one. Looks like I will be forced to buy through Steam, which is whatever. Signed up for beta, hope it is soon.

The economy it's like Warframe, not Lost Ark

lmao 😂 he’s just wrong about the weapon swapping in gw2. some professions are locked to one weapon in fight because the professsion with that weapon has access to nearly 25+ skills.

this guy might be great for some games deep dives but i can clearly see he’s just bias for sponsors. he even goes on to brag about how seamless the open world is, but the funny thing about seamless open world is the downtime maintenance anywhere from 8 hours to a week as some of the games he’s already mentioned. all of these PRO arguments are really just small wins for what the last 10 years has already defined as standard in the industry.

the one thing this game does well is the graphics. but everything mentioned as a pro here is really a let down for mmos. why? cuz we’re more than 20 years into this genre and these companies keep copying and pasting things. where is the innovation?

Looks interesting, will probably try it when it releases in EU.

We know that having the ability to purchase power in mmos actually does psychologically affect all the players that don’t spend. Look at literally every korean mmo released in the west…

I understand that this games take alot to develop and cost a shit ton of money and specialy being free to play they need and should have ways to make money out of the game obviously, and one of those ways would be adding pay 2 win, i believe the only solution for this is having servers dedicated to free to play only and server for those who spend money.

Top f2p will last about a month before the whales take over and ruin the f2p experience

If you want to play this game smoothly, prepare $300,000. NCSOFT games are mostly pay-to-win games. NCSOFT considers you a slave.

This game is a bad game that is notorious for pay-to-win in Korea. NCSOFT is known as the worst company in Korea. I want to stop you from playing this game.

The one good thing New World had going for it was the need to actually swap weapons to do certain moves. This game not having that skill gap is already a red flag. I'm not saying just because it's a two-weapon game it has to have that mechanic, but I don't really see the benefit of removing it either.

If dev sells gear, that is aggressive p2w. Because only dev makes money. And most players get nothing.

But in TnL. Dev does not sell gear. In Market place transaction is between players. Tax is 20%. So 80% of money whale spends is distributed to other players. With that money free to players can buy gear. So eventually everybody sell and buy gear. This is mild p2w.

Archeage is one of my favorite mmos ever. If this is better than archeage I'll be happy

ngl this is looking pretty solid, I hope that it might fill some time up and I can get on it with some buddies. I love the effects and colors, graphics have my eye and if the combat is going in the direction of ArcheAge then I'll be down.

I'm playing right now with a KR account, it's been amazing. The world is massive and there's almost no loading screen from the start screen to fast travel. The game also runs pretty well on my moderately old PC. Super stoked for this.

Isn't this that awful game that with went viral and thrown in the trash for having an auto play feature? Either way, anything with NCSoft attached to it.... as people seem to be forgetting (not Force), is absolutely horrendous and absolutely a giant cash grab, I refuse to believe there are any exceptions. They'll close the servers down in a few months, treat NA as a last priority and destroy any potential the game has. I can't accept "a little pay 2 win" either, I'm not doing the frog boiling in the water thing. They always get involved in games that look pretty, and/or play decently, then they squander it all. Absolutely no thank you. I learned this lessen the hard way after Aion, and the 4 or 5 MMO's before it, and watching them crumble for the last 20 years after each title.

You can buy the best gear with real money in literally all MMOs. You can't stop pay to win in games, but the only time it becomes intolerable is when it's impossible to clear the content as free to play.
