This video is incredibly relevant to the world we live in. I did not include any videos in my playlist about social media specifically, but I now see hoe beneficial that could be. It is scary just how much information that social media platforms gather when we use them. While sometimes this tracking can be funny, such as an ad about something you were just talking about, it really is a scary reality. This video is short and easy to understand for all age groups.

So this is why someone else was adding to my twitter account AFTER I unsubscribed and removed myself from it. Religious and sexual connotation at that. Locations of places I have NEVER been. Connecting with people I have NEVER heard of. We clocked that something wasn't right. Seems that privacy button doesn't work.

I don’t get it, what is the problem of some companies having access to this info and making marketing strategies on me as a user. What is social media privacy anyway? If there’s no ability for anyone to track my location and know my email and phone number. This video is just explaining facts, ok, what’s the deal?

There are always issues arising with social media platforms collecting users data and information.

It can be scary that our location, what we buy and who we follow on social media are being monitored. In this day and age people just have to be more aware of what they are doing/posting online or what they are signing up for when logging into a new social media platform. If you don't trust an online service to respect your privacy, delete your account or don't sign in at all.
