a song about the crusades which would be described in modern words as lofi-esque is not what I anticipated to come across but I love it, I have no clue why there are so many people complaining that this isn't their generic glorifying metal piece or why this puts arguably horrible people in a "bad light" but from my point of view this is a very nice cut with an even better song, sadly I am far too late but I would love to see more songs done by you

Pope - father, as a title for a church leader is Anti Christian doctrine. Jesus taught us "Call no man your father, for one is your father which is in heaven. Any true Christian with not hurt or kill or order killings, or approve of them, like the pope. It is against Jesus Christ's teachings to " Love your enemies as yourselves". Catholics keep the Roman symbol of the literal cross of the Romans to punish whim the persecute. Christians keep the teaching of Jesus Christ which is all about love, the law that doesn't kill but gives life eternal and bear the spiritual cross of Christ to endure sufferings, persecutions from unbelievers, and loving and doing good to everyone, to love even to non-Christians.

While I agree that the crusades were a horrible unbiblical atrocity, I must say that "you shall not kill" is better translated "you shall not murder".

The Muslims conquered Christian Spain in 711 AD, 300 years before the first Crusade. American leftists do not report the atrocities of Muslims in their accounts of the Muslims' aggression against the West and their quest to conquer all of Europe.

@historyteachers I generally like your songs and videos. I think the perceived bias was in part due to the film used to create the Video (a film that didn't little to explain the reasons of the Crusades). There is an added problem that there are no films (that I am aware of) showing the Islamic Military taking of the Holy Lands and their offensives against Christians both their and in Constantinople. At one point they had a tax of one Christian child which they use to create a army to kill.

Interesting, riveting, and will be used in my Military History class. Minor point, it blurs the 1st and 3rd, or Princes' and Kings' crusades together and also points out only the Templars as the knights that did the terrible things the Crusaders did. It is more complicated than that, and I bring that up in class. War is terrible, and I am not apologizing for the Crusades, but things happened on both sides.
