There were a lot of changes made a few years ago that update all of these "rules" so that they apply to todays time and age. A lot of it is just between the person and God, thus there is less judgement to the people that feel the need to do any of this stuff. No hate to any of y'all, and if you have any questions I'd suggest doing research with the sources that have been updated.
