Just letting you know Rain's in MK11 as a fully playable character. I main him, largely thanks to you talking about his history and because I like the cosmetics you can get from playing his character tower.👍

I was enjoying the video, and then, the end came and Ketchup says he's trying a new series (the now successful "competitive history of"), did not realize it was the first one and how I've enjoyed this series and saw every single episode and how far it came. I think its funny hearing ya say that you had wished Rain was playable in MK11 coming after just playing Rain's tower in MK11

Good news, Rain is amazing again! Sonicfox just won the first major tournament with him in MK1!

It should be added that Rain can't do a super round house twice during combo in the snes version.

It kinda funny watching the end of this video now because rain is a dlc character for mk11 and a base character in mk1

The infinite roundhouse move is also possible in the Genesis version of UMK3, I used it to be cheap af as Rain all the time growing up.

I love rain but since mk9 you have had to pay for him as dlc but not in the new mk1.

i think he’s an underused kharacter bc honestly his story has always been weak, but is also hard to fit into the story.

An update might be needed when the new mk1 realeses, seeing mk11 and mk1 rain reviewed would be dope! he's been my favorite since armageddon

I remember playing the MKX story for the first time as a brand new player, fighting against Rain, thinking his moves looked cool and he looked fun to play, then feeling crushed he wasn't playable. Honestly feels like a missed opportunity.

I hope someone will hack the Wii version of Armageddon and give Rain his Aqua Ball to move people, as well as his Super Kick, that would force opponents to bounce of the edge of the stage, ricocheting back to the position above Rain. As well as to give Chameleon Sub-Zero's Ice ball and Scorpion's Harpoon.

Rain in MK11 was fun to play as but I’ve always loved how he would effortlessly get these huge damage combos like he did in MK9

I think that and the creativity of his combos are what his gameplay identity needs to be about

Rain the purple ninja he’s play style was so fast and hard hitting when combining and his lightning and water based attacks put together deadly and if you seen him competitively you would know why og fans love this guy and the Super Kick was just ridiculous and the Water trap forget about it

Rain, was rellegared to a download character and no importance to the story (a little on Armageddon), because of his attract mode apperarence in UMK3's and for be nowhere to be found.

You should update this since Rain is in the game, now.

The super-kick would work the same way in 3D as Mileena and Scorpion’s teleports in Deception.

Rain’s name in the UMC3 eyecatch is different compared to the other characters.

What is Rain a prince of? He's not related to the Edenian royalty in any way except fucking Kitana in I think the comics.

It's funny to see how a character originally intended to be a joke became one of the most beloved characters in MK. Any time a new MK is out, people wonder if Rain is gonna be there. And when he isn't, they want him as DLC. Hopefully NRS recognizes his large fanbase, and uses him as more than just a jobber.
