Harsh reality.
ОтветитьWho is making all the money? Where is all the money going to?
ОтветитьPlayers get 18% of revenue tennis creates. Who are these suits cashing in and taking money from players?
ОтветитьStudy IQ
ОтветитьPeople forget a 25 court tennis area as to be mantained for 365 days a year to be used for 7 to 13 days they forget that the people manitaining it have to be paid year around the problem with tennis is there same players in this vidoe wanting a fan kick out a stadium because they talk durimg a pointm
ОтветитьGaurav garg sir❤
ОтветитьWow they get paid like mma fighters. I never knew this
ОтветитьThe real issue is tennis can't produce revenue because it's an individual sport with little tribalism. Fans can't follow a team and go to home games every week. Eg I can watch the 1000th best basketball players in the world play for Sydney 10 times a year - the same doesn't exist for tennis
ОтветитьI recommend looking at the Professional Bowler's Association pay structure.
ОтветитьTennis players are on their own. ATP and WTA players need to have a piece of revenue streams of these leagues.
ОтветитьI was sent here by Dr. Gaurav Garg sir 😊
ОтветитьBadminton players probably have a tougher time
ОтветитьWhy should someone be able to make a living playing tennis? There is lots of sports that are not paying enough to make a living. Maybe because it is not an actual job nor is it populair enough for enough people to watch games to generate money. Why can’t people make a living playing Uno or Monopoly?
ОтветитьBecause you are playing a game for a living. Go and get a real job...I'm sure you'll have enough money then. Sports entertainment is not a job.
ОтветитьUFC fighter has joined the chat
Ответитьwhat makes tennis/boxing/mma different since it they are all also a 1 on 1 sport
ОтветитьI thought tennis was up to people who wanted to play tennis if one cannot afford to pay for it tough luck that’s life but if you really want to play it’s not all about money what’s going on
Ответитьdoes anyone know if they would ever consider giving the players benefits like in the other major league sports?
ОтветитьTry make a living of bmx or downhill and you will see how tough. Way way harder then tenis
ОтветитьPlayers around the world are only playing to pay nadal ,joko and very few others wages.
ОтветитьHeartbreaking to hear this
ОтветитьSo sad to hear this stories.
ОтветитьVery few sports have massive money. Tennis is good. Look at squash, table tennis, badminton. All similar to tennis in needing to fly non stop year round, but only 10% of the money tennis has.
ОтветитьAs a private person , top tennis players cannot inspire me through their performances, statistics or apparel to live a more healthy lifestyle by buying similar equipment and play tennis. No way.
And this is the case with many other sports. Top players are hardly any role models
How can I reach those players in the video to share the IPTL vision? Love to share VOX the IPTL vision. A disruption is coming to change the landscape of tennis. Organize team tennis for the human race is coming.
ОтветитьIt's not a popular sport in the US, period. Catch up to MLB first, and that's after they declined in popularity.
ОтветитьSo quit and go get a real job like most of us.
ОтветитьIt’s one of the most expensive sports to learn and harder to make a living. Doesn’t make any sense.
ОтветитьPeople won't pay you to waste their limited time
ОтветитьThat's way Djokovic and Co with PTPA is important!
ОтветитьSorry there is a lot of other jobs you could work so ...
ОтветитьWell you can always get a real job.
ОтветитьWhy are tennis players comparing their conditions to athletes in team sports? Things must be much worse for professional boxers.
ОтветитьNo wonder that young woman with such talent had a mental breakdown and dropped out of the sport. I can't blame her and more power to her.
ОтветитьSo who's earning that much the organisations
Ответитьits because the same 3 people keep winning every tournemant
ОтветитьLol lots of athletes are not paid salary. Team sports are the exception not the rule, and tennis players should shut up and talk to wrestlers or track athletes about what it's like to make a living.
ОтветитьHow brave of these players to speak out
ОтветитьNot to mention there's a pricey enrollment fee for every tournament your team signs you up for.
ОтветитьGreat insight on this. It would be nice if someday there would be a union. The players deserve better.
ОтветитьI wonder how it is with golf
Ответитьhow much money does tennis bring in compared to all those other sports.
ОтветитьInteresting presentation. It’s hard to evaluate this critically because the video didn’t cover how much revenue the tournaments generate vs what the players are paid. I also think the comparison to team sports is apples to oranges because team sports are structured much differently. I think a fairer comparison would be to professional golf rather than the major professional team sports leagues.
ОтветитьVox please do an episode on fashion models pay, and how little we get paid.
ОтветитьProbably because Tennis is not the most Monetizable Sport like Football Basketball and Baseball and most tennis players that are payed well are in bigger and richer leagues and majority of Major Tennis Leagues or Associations are Extremely Corrupt so Most Associations Grab money from their players for their own
Ответитьpure skill issue, stop complaining
ОтветитьThey are not an essential service. You’re an entertainer. Don’t entertain then if you want to make more. Go out and get a real job. Plenty of open jobs in my town.
ОтветитьShat!
ОтветитьMost players that make it have some kind of support system behind them, most of the time family linked with tennis or they come from a wealthy family. Imagine how much talent is wasted because of that, unlike any other team sports, It's just not worth investing in young talent.
ОтветитьNo
