Fantastic video and examples. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьGreat video about data tables. helped me a lot to understand and apply.
ОтветитьHi Leila, I do not get answer as like you shown, I got 0 only.
ОтветитьLeila, 4% p.a. is not 0,04/12... you must calculate an equivalent rate using (1+0,04)^1/12
ОтветитьCan data table take or return text values? Or only numbers?
For example I want to do the same formula for multiple categories, will it take it?
aunty aap nahi mei hi chutiya hu
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video!
ОтветитьWell explained, thanks !
ОтветитьAll the values are 0 :( tried the format and everything like the tutorial but still just zeros
ОтветитьI appreciate your Xelplus tutorials, Leila. I'm currently working on designing a 13-month rolling cash flow statement. Any assistance you can provide on this matter would be highly valued. Thank you for your support and guidance.
ОтветитьThis is really good indeed.
Ответитьhelp me please, I don't have the data analysis option
Ответить❤👍
ОтветитьGood Day Ms. Leila. Can you make some videos where the returning value should be the closest value. I've seen a lot of xlookup examples but it just shows 1 criteria only.
xlookup(0,Abs(range)-value,, 0) this works but i have 3 criteria as lookup value.
I truly learnt a good skill in this video. Easy to follow and grasp. Thanks Leila!
ОтветитьI almost cried reading the textbook. Thanks you 😊❤
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьYou're a lifesaver! Thank you for the crystal clear teaching! 💎
ОтветитьThanks, very helpful...👍
ОтветитьHello Ma'am, please what is likely to be happening here? Why repeat the same amount. It's really frustrating. Help!!!😢😢😢

I have been following your your videos for many years now.
I am convinced that we all use not more than 10% of what Excel offers. Great video as always.
Can we incorporate more than 2 variables to see the impact ?
Thanks
love you !
ОтветитьI think it needs to be pointed out that a yearly interest rate of 4% is not the same as 4%/12 compounded monthly(which is what 4%/12 is here). 4% compounded monthly is actually a APY of 4.07%. In order to have a 4% yearly interest rate, you would need to use 0.3273% compounded monthly, not 0.3333% that you used.
ОтветитьThat replacing thing with "money" doesn't work for me.
ОтветитьWhen I drag the percentage to down keep copying the 3% How can I drag the number from the same Colum and percentage increases?
Ответитьhow to bring up the windows emoji?
ОтветитьThanks, that's neat especially the rows and columns explanation.
Ответить❤ I really respect u by heart. I want to learn from u. Please
Ответитьjust loved!
ОтветитьThis was very helpful for me, so thanks Leila
ОтветитьThanks for creating such a amazing vedio on excel, your vedio is very helpuf for me
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьHallo, im working on an excel sheet that has a column named Overall results. Under this column I have used average function to find the average of each students score(=AVERAGE(F5,J5,K5,L5,O5,P5,Q5) ). My desired outcome is to display conditions "Pass" "Fail" "Refer" on the same column of the Overall performance. I have tried this formular =AVERAGE(F5,J5,K5,L5,O5,P5,Q5) + IF(R34>=85,"DISTINCTION(1)",IF(R34>=76,"DISTINCTION(2)",IF(R34>=68,"CREDIT (3)",IF(R34>=60,"CREDIT (4)",IF(R34>=50,"PASS (5)",IF(R34>=40,"PASS (6)", "REFERRAL")))))).
The idea is the AVERAGE function calculates the average of the specified cells, and the IF function checks the value in cell R5(which is the Overall Performance column) and returns the corresponding text label, within the same cell.
is this calculation possible??
Does this also work if the input cell, on which I want to run a scenario, isnt inside the final formula? Let's say on cell A1 I enter projected GDP growth rate. Then over thousands of cells, using all kinds of other inputs and calculations, I crunch numbers and then finally I have some cashflows. My end calculation is NPV of those cashflows. So my NPV formula doesn't include "GDP growth rate" as an input. Will your method still work? Is excel smart enough to figure out using several dozen precedent arrows that I had used "GDP growth rate" projection as an input way back when?
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! Thank you! Quick question: What if I had multiple outputs in my scenario analysis and wanted the columns to represent multiple outputs. For example, say for a variety of sales growth rate scenarios, I wanted to calculate NPV, Value at risk, IRR etc. Is it possible to do this in a single table? I dont want to create multiple tables to do this. Thanks!
ОтветитьIt helped me for my college assignment 😅.
Thank you.
Very nice explanation.
ОтветитьVery nice video Leile. Thanks for your hard work 👍
ОтветитьDid you make a clip on scenario analysis
ОтветитьLesson completed, thank you so much.
ОтветитьGreat very useful information 👍 Thanks
ОтветитьWow 👍
ОтветитьYet again, your channel has made me more productive at work. I've been itching to make a scenario analysis table with a bunch of complex financial data with moving 1 or two variables... This did the trick! One other thing I'd add, is if you're just moving a columnar variable, you can have many different reference columns that all update with the far left column values! I also couldn't get it to work until I made the Column Input Cell on the same sheet as the What If table. Thanks!!!
ОтветитьThis video is gold ✨💎✨ thank you for sharing it
